  1. I was just looking at their website. This is just 1 48" light over your 75? How deep is your tank? What do you think of the color? It looks a little "white" to me but nice and bright. I have T5's with my color being really close to yours.

  2. Once nitrates hit 0 add all the CUC you'd like. Check out reefcleaners.org for a calculation of what you should be getting for your tank.

Some people never get nitrates to zero. When your nitrites and ammonia reach zero, do a water change and you should be good to add the CUC.

  3. Arg... This is pretty much the exact tank I want in dimension, rimless, and the overflow style. Just hold on to it for a year and I'm game.

I certainly hope that by one year from now, I'd finally be in a position to use it :) We have eventual floor repairs and foundation repairs that will both require the tank to move into another room, or possibly out of the house entirely. The thought of moving it multiple times is quite daunting, and I'd rather just buy another tank when I'm finally in a position to set one up. I can't stand the idea of cracking or chipping it while simply moving it around for the repairs to take place.

    I am interested, PM sent.

    Thanks, I emailed you.

I have been self employed doing tile and wood for the past 16 years. If you are going to be putting back either, I would be willing to talk about some kind of deal for your setup. Let me know if interested.

  4. Woo hoo!! With 1" of fish per 2 gallons of water, I can put 11 5" tangs in my 110!!! Im going to petco tomorrow to buy and add them all at once. Also, you can have a clownfish in a tank smaller than a 29 gallon tank and I only wish it was 20 min of maintenance a week. While the motive is good, there is still misleading information.

  5. I bought some live rock from someone shutting their tank down and it had quite a bit of turf algae. My hippo tang and coral beauty destroyed it. With the addition of a chevron tang, they keep my tank 100% spotless of any type of algae.

  6. Lik 90% of the tanks on craigslist are overpriced. More fun and less expensive to just do it yourself.

And 90% of them are negotiable as well. I got a killer deal on mine off of Craislist when I got mine. You could probably get it for half of that if you are patient. Just tell him you want it but have seen them much cheaper and if he doesnt get what he wants for it, you are willing to give him $xxx for it. There is a good chance he will eventually just wanna get rid of it.
