I do think it would be cool to see these things in every NBA arena and NFL stadium. It would be a really cool souvenir. You could have the team logos in the background of all of the pictures.

That is very pricey, especially for the hotel that is included. Unless it includes your dives in the rates. My wife and I went for 5 days to a 4 star all inclusive resort for a total of $1400. I don't think the hotel Cozumel is even all inclusive. If your dates are flexible, definitely check Expedia or Travelocity.

I'm definitely down for that one. Depending on time of year, two people can go from dallas for 5 days with airfare and nice all inclusive resort for around $1300 total. You couldn't fly and stay in Florida for that. We went last summer for 11 days and 4 people for $3200. That was at a 4 star resort too.

It really is. I have gone on many paid "snorkel excursions" but have found some hidden gem snorkel spots right off the shoreline that rival any excursion. If anyone ever goes, ask me and I can tell you a really cool spot you can drive to.

I recommend it to everyone. Last time we did the submarine. It went over 100 feet deep and saw huge barracudas and a few very large nurse sharks.

I am a Caribbean junkie. I have been to Jamaica 3 times, Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico and Cozumel 7 times. The last 2 years we have went to Cozumel 3 times for a total of 20 days. We already have another trip booked for august. People always ask why I don't try other places but every time I do, I regret not going to Cozumel. It is safe, very easy to get around the whole island, AWESOME snorkeling right off the beach, only a 2.5 hour flight, and it is really cheap to go in comparison to other places. Plus, it is a pretty small island and i already know my way around really well. I am a die hard snorkeler. The ONLY reason we don't dive is because I have a 8 and a 10 year old and include them in every trip we take. They love to snorkel with me and it is an awesome experience to share with them. I have a ton of cool pictures and I will start another thread for some when I have time.

I hope this is true because I already ordered a custom made 5 gallon display and a 2.5 gallon sump. Please let me know if this is acceptable. I thought it was said, before this thread, up to 5 gallons with a sump no bigger than 1/2 of display.

I thought this was the point of the contest. To be able to maintain a small system without relying on high dollar equipment and really testing your husbandry and reef keeping abilities. There are tons of people who cant afford a apex and can keep a system just fine. If you cant afford what you need, you shouldnt be joining the contest anyway. No offense. Im not trying to argue at all and I hope I dont ruffle any feathers but I thought this was the whole point of the contest.

You should have to budget for timers. That is part of this being a independent system and not fair for the people having to budget for it.

I wont be around the weekend of C4 and wouldnt want to break down my system and set it back up only to break it back down and set it up again, anyway. If this is going to be the case im out.

Well, my career path isn't as interesting as most posting but I will share. I started out helping my step dad do tile work during summer breaks from school when I was about 12, I am 33 now. I helped every summer until I graduated high school. From there I went to college for a couple of semesters but it just wasn't for me. So I went into doing tile work full time. I worked for my dad for many years and got tired of seeing him bring home $5-6K a week when I was doing all of the work. I wanted to become partners with him but he wouldnt pay me more than $12 a hour so about 10 years ago decided to start working for myself. It was the best decision of my life. Most of my business is custom tile work in higher end homes but I do work in homes of all price ranges. Luckily around the Salado/Belton area, building is still going strong so I really haven't slowed down at all with all of the recession mess.

Due to an accident I had and not enough time to devote to my tank, I am going to sell a few corals before they start to go downhill. So the frags will have a little hair algae but nothing major. I have 13 polyps of pink Zippers that are in 2 different clusters on one square frag plug. One Cluster has 8 polyps, the other has 5. I will sell them all for $150 or i could do a 8 polyp frag and a 5 polyp frag. These came from versace on here. I also have 8 polyps of ATL Fire & Ice for $100 and 5 polyps of Nightmares for $75. I don't see anything wrong with you posting it and I actually appreciate it. I have owned my own business for 10 years and have never "snapped" on a customer and I deal with them on a daily basis. I probably wouldn't be in business if I couldn't control it. It makes you wonder how many people he has done this to without it being brought to attention. In my opinion, it's not how many people have good experiences with a company but how many people have bad experiences that can make or break a company. I could read 1000 positive feedbacks and 5 negatives like this and I wouldn't buy from them. Especially if it is close between them and another company with all good comments. You definitely have the right to spread the word and post this wherever you want.
