We have started an old DAS system that is hopefully cycling while I am vacationing in NOLA. We live in Georgetown and I am excited to read all these threads. Gtownsaltbaby Posted July 17, 2016 Author Share Posted July 17, 2016 We are headed home NOLA was great. I am hoping the tank is in good shape. We started the tank completely off other folks systems. Live sandd and some water from 1 and live rock from another. We had a couple hitchhiker's. A little very active crab my daughter named Shelly and 2 snails. We had the water tested before we left and knew the cycle was starting. We also learned our salinity was a little low. We got that adjusted before we left. So the tank has been up with just the rock,sand and 3 little hitchhiker's for week today. Excited to see it when I get home. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
