Gig 'em @ NDstructible
I'm currently in Bora Bora on my honeymoon. It's been a paradise for a fish geek like me. Here are a few pictures I've taken while diving/snorkeling. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jestep
Well this looks horrible... I'll take one of those amazing tank size tabling acros though.
FarmerTy
More like boring boring! Who wants to look at all those awesome tabling corals and maxima clams hiding in coral colonies? Pshhh... lame!

FarmerTy
Hey, take a water sample in the areas around the coral. I want to see what the parameters are! Rumor has it your alk at home is 10.8 dKh and no SPS are touching and burning each other. [emoji6]
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Stayed in a beach bungalow with private beach access in Bora Bora, have an over water bungalow in Moorea right now. I'll attach a photo of the current view from the deck I'm typing this from as well as some photos I took from the reef right off the deck I took earlier. FarmerTy
Tell the ocean to run more 14k spectrum lighting and dose aminos to get better colors from their acros.
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
That acro has better colors in person. It's a very bright lavender color. I want a frag of it so bad!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gig 'em @ NDstructible
I think a clam would be easier to get home alive. I don't think it would fit in my little shampoo bottle though [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Unfortunately I tried a red filter on my dive today since we were going down to 60 feet. All the videos and pictures came out blood red [emoji22] and the only regular photos I was able to capture were from after the dive when I was snorkeling next to the boat. Luckily there was a rock of Heteractis magnifica anemones to take center stage! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
+olaggie01
Very nice. Water is crystal clear. I wonder how much poly floss the ocean uses?
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
There are palettes of it on the beach here. Here's a picture if some mushrooms I found. It took me a second to recognize what they were since there are millions of them on the corks rubble and they are cleverly disguised as brown gunk [emoji38] but it was still cool to see them in the wild. I also found some wild zoas, but they were black and growing in a rock crevice. GoPros do not have the correct lenses for micro shots, so that photo came out horribly. Sascha D.
Looks amazing Giggers! I wonder how many people have been there and had never known what was just under the surface. How many more looked and had no idea what they were looking at!
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
That was very philosophical Sascha! The people who do look are so fascinated by the colorful damselfish, wrasses, and tangs, but no one noticed the Tridacnid maxima clams that are nestled in the rocks, or the colorful Christmas tree worms, or the pipefish. It's pretty awesome to have an eye for these things and then point them out to people and explain what they are. For once in my life I feel smart! ?
