+mcallahan
I'm looking for one of those long feeding sticks that has a bulb on one end so that you can feed corals w/out sticking your hand in the tank Here is an example of one @ Marine Depot: Kent Feeding Stick
+dapettit
I saw them at aquadome yesterday. They are closed on Monday's.
+mcallahan
Does RCA have them? I'd like to support sponsors. I know aquatek doesn't...I was there today.
+dapettit
I've never seen them there. Good opportunity to ask them to be a sponosor. They are a sponosor on that other forum. Might call Jake in the morning.

Derek
That looks like a pretty awesome device. I could use something like that instead of tongs, tongs suck.

joshman1204
I think I recall seeing these at RCA over by where they keep the glass scrapers and gravel vacuums.
chrisfowler99
I bought mine at RCA sometime last year. That exact one. One thing to know is that the opening is *really* small. You're not going to fit any sort of fish food in there, but for coral only stuff it works great.
theresa
Aquatek Tropical Fish has one but cost was lot more and been looking for a better price.

+mcallahan
After reading the reviews on MarineDepot, I was one as well. Group order time? Sure. I'll set it up after I check @ RCA for how much it is there.
+mcallahan
Ok, RCA said they didn't have them so I'm going to setup a MD group buy.
Gonzobob
I have one of these I've been using for about 6 months for rotifers or various partical feeds it does ok however, as Chris said it's really narrow. If your feeding anything mysis sized it's just going to get clogged. Finely diced mysis sort of works. I have been thinking of drilling mine out to see if that would work better but haven't gotten around to it.

I only want to target feed my dendro with it so i'll just use it for reef roids and oyster feast.
+dapettit
I believe the tube is extendable, oh wait I just extended mine. Also comes with a little skewer for feeding nems and lionfish. . .

FarmerTy
I have one and I like it, but like GonzoBob says, the opening is very narrow and would only really work with smaller particle food. Mysis and my own personal blend of coral food tend to get clogged in it. I was going to drill it out myself and see how it worked as well. My only other gripe is the insides of the tube are very prone to food sticking to it so half of my food I defrosted ends up stuck on the inside of the tube. I'm sure it's an exaggeration but still. Overall though, I would still buy it and I'll let everyone know how widening out the opening helps with larger food particles. -Ty
Rjohn
I read in the reviews that people used their dremel tool to trim the tip to open it up for use with mysis shrimp and larger foods. Gonzo, would that work with yours?
Gonzobob
Hey Ric, It likely would. I've moved most of my tanks to the polyp labs system and am cutting back considerably on my target feeding. That being the case I'll probably run it out with a drill sometime soon.
