I plan on arriving back in Round Rock around 6 pm Sunday nite and you can pick them up then. John
  9. I have a 10 gal that I use as temporary qtank. Cheap lights that came with the tank, Aquaclear for filter and circulation (I keep the sponge and ceramic beads in my sump to seed them) and heater. PVC for hiding and I painted the side walls and back with black paint to reduce stress on the fish and make it feel more cozy.
  10. Thanks for the offer Mike! I just got your message and it is around 6 pm so I assume I am too late. The kids and I are going to make a field trip out of it next weekend. Thanks again. If anyone else would like a Sherman just let me know.
  11. I can ask Dave, Where did you get your Sherman and how long have you had it?
  12. I have been looking for a RBTA and doing some research. There is a "Sherman" variant which is a longterm clone originating from Sherman TX and is a deeper red color, hardy, and spits frequently. I have found a reputable reefer in DFW area that has 10 available and is selling them for $100 each. I am driving up next Sunday, March 28th, to pick one up and thought I would see if anyone else is interested. I can reserve more and will bring back for no additional cost. Let me know. John Here is more info on the Sherman and the guy I am getting them from, Mickey. Sherman info Sherman RBTA for sale

  16. my vote is "Will Frag for Food" subtitle aquaculture related
  17. I also have a Euroreef RS80 and like it. I had a lot of trouble finding a source to buy the Euroreef. They have had problems with distibutors in TX so if you do decide to go with ER then just avoid the hassle and order from them directly. Good luck, John
  18. Thanks! Midas blenny is one of my favorites. Almost all of my livestock comes from either Shane at Fishy Business or Mama. Nice tank yourself!
  19. Thanks! Coming from you that is a huge compliment. I went with the BRS pukani dry rock. It is awesome rock and extremely light and porous. I ordered 40 lbs for my 40g and only used 30. It was about $2.50 a pound when I purchased it.
  20. Here is a FTS of my 40g breeder. Just celebrated its 6 month birthday.

Shane at Fishy Business had lots of Astreas and some mexican turbos last week. He also had some giant Nassarius snails and lots of hermits and emerald crabs.
  23. Jeremy (offroaddodge) feeds I nice variety which I think is important. I am a little more lazy so I feed "Rod's Food" which is a good variety and already made up. It includes everything Jeremy is feeding and more in one package
  24. I have also heard that coraline primarily likes lower light. I had not heard of the 2 part issue and was wondering what others experience was. i like the look of coraline encrusted LR and was kind of hoping I could have both....coraline and SPS reef.
