  2. Have you tried twisting with some chanel locks? If its not glued it should come loose.

Problem is, I dont think many people use the stuff. No reason to turn off the skimmer when dosing calcium.
  4. What brand is it? Sometimes the manufacturer will repair them for free or very little depending on how old it is... Whats the problem?
  5. Or/and they have Euro bracing... http://www.google.co...biw=861&bih=601
  6. Depending on glass thickness, width of the longest panels and hight, it can be done successfully. I run a 3' tank with no brace no problem.
  7. Leave it alone? Give it time to settle in, dont force feed it and allow it to get used to its new surroundings...

They can provide references and seem to have a fair ammount of success with their treatments.. I wouldnt trust my little Ginger with anyone else. Man, I sure hope your kitty gets better soon... 11. That guard dog is daring you to come close to the fence... Plus, the air north of the river smells like armpit... lol
  12. Careful, us south boys stick together.
  13. Don't underestimate the use of an auxiliary air supply. I run an airstone in my fuge just in case of a skimmer malfunction, been there, not going there again. Surface agitation can only do so much.
  14. To answer your question, as long as you're sure its completely dry, yes, you can continue to use it. Blow it out with compressed air or leave it out in the sun a few days. You can always take it apart for maintenance while you're at it.
  15. Had a family of three that would visit my garage every night, curious little guys they are.. Oops, just noticed it says 'of yourself', oh well..
  16. I have a surf rod you c an borrow, you'll just need to supply the tackle/bait..

  23. Hey Mama, got any small-ish canister filters layin around?
  24. Ive used Chemiclean which is similar and the instructions are very specific about turning the skimmer off. Try turning it off then back on after you do a water change, I can almost guarrante it will still bubble for a few hours.
