Has anyone tried 1/8" (.125) ID RO tubing instead of normal .17"? I had some normal tubing rupture on me under normal pressure and need to prevent it from happening again.

Feeling dejected. Heater exploded on Monday when I was at work. Fish are hanging in, but it looks like most my SPS is done for. Hoping my LPS hold on as well.

Bummer. I only run a heater through my Apex and Reef Keeper. It only turns the heater on when the computer temperature probe says to. And then I set the heater's set point to just above that of the computer's set point so if the computer mistakes the temperature (like if the probe was removed out of the water on accident) hopefully the heater would shut itself off and not burn up the tank. Computers are a must these days for better control
