I used Google maps and thought I knew where I was going but we couldn't find the place. We drove down and around Hwy 95 and stopped twice for directions, no luck. I called the number from information and got an answering machine. O well, better luck next time. I did get some 15 lbs of excellent honey from a guy set up just north of Bastrop. I'll be making mead next week. -
Maxine, are you all set back up? How do you like the rock scaping?

Innate1, I didn't really care about AAF and didn't consider their status at all. I just saw corals going for 10 cents on the dollar and wanted to let the board in on it. I was surprised when I found out people here were already bidding.

I am not sure I see how that is different than Jake posting what has come in lately to RCA or any of the other vendors that post their products on here all the time.

No problem, Will. It seemed to me to be only fair that everyone get a shot at these kind of deals. I must say that not everyone seems to agree with me tho.

Austin Aqua Farms in Taylor has about 30 things on EBAY going for pennies on the dollar. Better get there quick. They time out in 30 minutes or less.

What Nery did was pretty spectacular, almost as spectacular as the guy who went with him and had a camera stuck to his face.

I saw an ad on Ebay for a Corallife 4 lamp retro kit, NIB, for $75 and $42 shipping. I priced it on MarineDepot fot $300. I contacted the seller and he swears it has never been used.

I just scraped my tank with a razor blade. I had a scraper with a long handle and a metal blade but it did not work very well. Upon dapettit's advice at the Saturday meeting, I tried a single edge razor blade. That worked extremely well. I cleaned almost all of the pink off the sides and back and only got nibbled on twice. It looks much better. Over the 4th, I am gonna do a water change and some other basic maintenance. I might begin removing the CC bed a little at a time. I figure if I remove about 4 cups of CC at a time, I just might be able to avoid cycling.

I hear Prof has a large one. He is one of our vendors - Epic Reef. Are you sure the glass is not tempered? If so, it cannot be drilled safely.

Are yall sure the Aqualifter will push water 5 feet high? Aquatek on Burnet Rd. carries them.
