  1. I have a very large orange (pink?) monti colony that has some staining from gha and some die off on the lower levels due to shadowing from the upper levels but is still quite an impressive piece measures about 10"x12"x8" at LEAST! it is also attached to a fairly decent piece of LR...the entire thing might weigh over 30 lbs (monti and rock) Entertaining all offers. here are pics...lighting is pretty crappy (6 x random k t5's with NO actinic)
  2. i found a live muscle that somehow survived under all the GHA in the "dumpster" tank...and now pipe organ is taking over that tank...hell pipe organ is replacing the GHA it is almost over run with it
  3. Well the title pretty much sums it up, I have a hanging canopy (basically a wooden box) it is stained a medium brown. It includes the adjustable hangers (the ones where you press down on the top to adjust cable height) reflectors, bulbs and ballasts. $275 obo. I'll post pictures tomorrow
  4. lol, who knows! as for the pointyness of the ends I'd have to get up and look at it...and I am lazy (aka I'll look tomorrow)
  5. I have some as well, i can frag to your price (and for what size)
  6. agreed...mine is impossible to remove from your hand ...takes assistance...gloved assistance...and a shrimp to intice him to release your hand. I have accidentally bumped him and "payed the consequence" which equals me saying "oh ****! oh ****! oh ****! oh ****! oh ****!" it doesn't hurt but it is NOT a fun feeling...like flypaper...flypaper with a muscle in it.
  7. sell you mine for $90...it is larger than a cd but smaller than a record....eats like crazy
  8. don't take this the wrong way but....I am sooo glad to have my tank space back (and the use of my mag float!)...and your **** clowns out of my fuge....copeapod munching ********
  9. ...are they reef safe? all joking aside, congrats
  10. remember people GHA can survive in perfect water conditions...the "dumpster" tank had untraceable readings when I picked it up (and THAT was a GHA nightmare). to remedy the dumpser tank I got 10 large turbos. and run roaphos 24/7. I also suggest you cut back on feedings and possibly your light cycle (deprive the GHA of nutrients)
  11. update: here is a Ricordia/Palythoa rock as it was 7 days ago: And here is the SAME rock, just a euroreef rs80, 3days on a makeshift ATS (that is beginning to grow) asmall clean up crew, normal light cycle, 0 water changes from day 1 (yet...one slated for a week from now) and have NEVER fed the tank oh and yes I know the glass is very dirty....i cannot keep my hands out of the tank and there is dried salt all over the front glass....guess i could clean it up...
  12. nothing ...or very very little mysis shrimp
  13. I have a 6 x 54w 48" t5 fixture you can rent/buy if you like

  15. time = money and I have tons of time so I must be rich!! wait a minute .... ****
  16. Uhhh I have no PM?...please resend....(via PM)
  17. make mine the blue....please...and when the **** tank clears up i have tons to frag
  18. Zoanthids are wildfires. Now on to the actual "news" At approximately 9pm tonight I decided to fashion an algae turf scrubber (ATS) out op some excess plumbing and a small pump. we'll see what this can actually do (if anything) for this nasty tank... next possible step might be vodka dosing (maybe) but already things are looking better
  19. If anything remains I am always game.
  20. hehehe which one..added 2 more since you were last here hows that sump treating you?
