  1. well, as of now 3:30am all remaining inhabitants that were a close resemblance to "alive" are now hosting in my display. (what are friends for right) and will keep everyone updated...if they start melting they are getting yanked...esp that clam...the nassarius are beginning to circle...
  2. the more the marrier...and that goes for vehicles as well...you want it to be a single trip job
  3. yeah i should be in town sometime, not sure when exactly but yeah I'll probably be changing a timing set on a POS Ford SUV at home for the majority of the day. which reminds me...Kaylon...you wouldn't happen to have the tools to hold a ford crank and cams stationary for a timing chain swap at the shop you work at would ya? and are your corals on frag plugs? if not i have some to spare...some not a lot. and i may have to retract the water offer i had a ton of evap on 3 of the 5 tanks...may only have like 15 gallons avail.
  4. oh and btw: walmart (aka hell on earth) has 30 gallon black rubbermaid bins with lids on sale for $8 were invaluable for moving the 75g tank i just moved
  5. no offence have you seen the tanks at the LFS...aiptasia, bubble algae...no thank you... It is not a hard process and I can help just let me know when. remember if you order SPS from a e-tailer the are SHIPPED to you with NO light and just heat packs in a plastic bag. as long as it doesn't take you 24+ hours to tear down, move and reset up your tank you will be fine. the faster the better but you will be fine
  6. I have 2 ebo jagers that I stopped using....but i don; remember why...I don't even remember if they work or not anymore
  7. hey guys i can house anything you need me to temporarily, and I can frag you some crap whenever your back up...there is a lesson to be learned here...GFCI and grounding probes...it can happen to anyone. I have had friends whose tunze's epoxy gave zapping the entire tank was very tragic. Keep it up guys you had just gotten to "the point" in the hobby where it was fairly smooth sailing, you had mastered water chemistry 101, this is just a hiccup, it hurts but it can be recovered from. I also have 30gallons of water already made.
  8. wow that is a lot of light for a breeder tank...I am assuming you are putting corals in there too? can't wait to see pics!..I love projects.

  18. update: there is one clean rock now! ok but I "cheated", I transplanted this one into my 120g and let my massive cleanup crew do it's work...and they did. Pics to come!
  19. pretty much I don't understand why law makers cannot keep on task...like making tanning bed illegal for minors...and provocative cheerleading...and CEO salary caps...and MLB steriod use...etc you know the "REAL" issues oh wait no...those are all fluffy pandering filler. get back to work congress and state legislature there is REAL work to be done...not that any of our politicians will ever do it. if pro is opposite of con...then what is the opposite of progress?
  20. it is/was (was as it most surely has been claimed as it was free and on craigslist) made of fiberglass...outside would have been fine. but hey you never know maybe it is still available
  21. Hey Jennifer! congrats on the job thus far! when does Kyle get back? needed to ask him something. oh and the answer is: black spot aka tang disease aka black ich Give all infected fish a freshwater dip, followed by a formalin bath and continue treatment in a QT. (and by freshwater they mean fresh RO/DI with no salt...just to clarify)
  22. *takes bow* thank you thank you...tip your waitress , try the veal! I know it is a long shot but is anyone willing to "donate to the cause" NO MONEY ($$$) PLEASE! I REPEAT NO MONEY BUT>>>> if you have ANY algae eaters (snails, hermits, lawnmower blennys) or aiptasia eaters (peppermint shrimp, baghira nudibranch, copper banded) you want to loan/sell/donate to this endeavor I would be more than grateful. need the most are hermits/turbo snails/ peppermint shrimp....well hell everything/anything helps
