  1. Ask dapettit....he might be able to point you in the right direction on how to obtain some. He just started treatment #1 in his tank. Check out his blog and links for more info. Got Bugs???!!! -Cindy-
  2. Could it be an Acropora Gomezi???
  3. +1 on what Dapettit said. Get a blade and cut as close possible to the rock....sometimes coraline comes off with it but it's easier to remove it. Also placing it in your sump will help with the removal of extra nutrients in your water----Great filter feeders!!! -Cindy-
  4. Darn it.....my husband is addicted to the game "Borderlands"....skeptical at first but once he tried it....he was hooked. I sit around sometimes and watch him play the game...but my favorite part is the intro song "Ain't no rest for the wicked" and at the end of credits "No heaven".
  5. Happy New Year!!! and here's to more successful reefing.
  6. Gotcha!!! We sure do appreciate the effort this team :thumbsup:puts into the forum.....without them I don't know where this forum would be....Thanks:)
  7. VERY NICE TANK!!.....Robb. Love the layout on the page, Andrew I think you're doing a fantastic job keeping up with the site and like the new perks. -Cindy-
  8. Well....this is what we're looking at in 2010.....EOS 5D Mark II HD video and DSLR. Very impressive IMO...check the video: Canon camera
  9. Nice shots ...Mark. Thinking about getting a DSLR camera in the future??? I agree with Andrew....that anemone shots sure looks gorgeous. -Cindy-
  10. Well...I guessed it right as well. Congrats to both of you.
  11. I believe will be there for the meeting....it's a 1 day tourny....they'll be back this evening. With this club...most tournaments are away (San Antonio & Houston)....but there are 3 tournaments that will be held here in Austin. I'll let you know ahead of time. Hmmm, wonder what type of wrench or other tool we might need to bring over?!
  12. I would send Robert over to your place, but he's in San Antonio on a tournament....Sorry. Do you have to replace the fixture or is it too tight or stripped?
  13. This could possibly be a sign of high phosphates. Run some poly-filter and do more frequent water changes. You also want to make sure that your RO/DI is free of impurities (maybe time to change cartridges). As for tangs....I know for a fact that most tangs from the Zebrasoma family (aka yellow tang, purple tang...etc.) tend to munch down of bryopsis. Good Luck. -Cindy-
  14. Thanks for taking it.....it was nice meeting you Rey.
  15. Awe!! It's creepy alright. I just didn't want to risk it with the small gobies I've got in the tank.
  16. Thanks for updating the thread for me......just been in and out of the house early this morning. But Rey will stop by today....see you then.

Agree on the sponge, as well.
  18. They get along with everything. I even had a harlequin shrimp and the shrimp never attempted to eat it. They move very fast and are nocturnal predators/scavengers. Reybeast is to show up this evening and pick it up.
  19. Most serpent starfish and brittle will do fine. I had it in the main tank and moved it to the Neo-nano tank. I just moved in several gobies (very passive creatures & small too) and I don't want to risk them to the starfish. It's yours if you come get him tonight.....will be here. Just left you a message and I will PM you my address and phone. -Cindy-
  20. The title says it....... first come, takes it. Color: Deep burgundy red/brown.
  21. I appreciated.....By the way, how are both of you holding up....we hope your family had a great Thanksgiving!
  22. Closer to Leander to be precise. Any folks from Georgetown/Liberty Hill, Cedar Park or even close to Lakeline....183/620.
  23. Anyone in NW Austin know of a place or someone that's selling seasoned live oak firewood. I've checked numerous listing on Craiglist and the good deals seem to be far south. Also, I prefer Live oak than post oak---live oak seems to burn longer. Looking to buy 1/2 cord to 1 cord of firewood. If anyone has dealt with a reputable individual/business please post here. Thanks, -Cindy-
