  10. Another update: Last night while watching TV the living room became a bright white (the tank lights the room). Looked at the tank and the coloring was all wrong! All white w/ no blue even with 108 watts of actinics. The more I think about the more I belive the Hamiltons don't last long. Gonna pick up sone 14K's from prof tonight. Dave-

  17. Did it come with a in-line TDS meter? If not I would suggest you get a couple. They come with two probes. The first set of probes set between the incoming source water and after your last filter before RO membrane. The second set of probes set right after the membrane and right after the DI canister. This way you'll know when to change out filters and RO membrane. The DI resin can be color changing but having the TDS probe after te DI resin canister can tell when that needs to be changed too, I change mine when the meter reads 001. The link will help you understand if the above is confusing (still working on my first cup of coffee). Dual Inline TDS Meter DM-1 HM Digital Dave-
  18. I picked up a plastic "Sun Tea" container at Wal-Mart (the one with the spout). Cleaned it out well with white vinegar and water. I keep ro/di water in it. I put the food in a shot glass. Then put ro/di water into the glass, let it thaw then pour into a brine shrimp net. Place the net under the spout of the "Tea" maker and let the run over it until the water is clear. Dave-
