    When I was storing my rock until the tank was ready I ran the lights 8 hrs a day. Some rock had mushroom on it. When moving the rock to the tank we discovered snails on the rock and at the bottom of the containers. So I would say yes only because this was what I experienced. Not sure about the mangroves. If you don't have a power head in the container(s) I would recommend using one.

    I tried reef roids, but all my corals did was slim. I feed frozen rotifers once a week. My corals seem to be happy. I also run a ca reactor which really increased growth. I believe Calfo said fish poo is the best coral food.

    I you haven't alreay create an album in the gallery. Upload the picture. Go to the album and find the pic, right click the pic and copy the address. Go the contest album and click on the picture icon and paste the address. Or at least that is how I do. An easier way is to create an account at photobucket.com, upload the pic. Save it and click the IMG code right click on the highlighted code. Go the contest album paste the code. Now you are totally confused. . .

    Does this thing have any kind of airhose to suck air into the skimmer? Whenever my Euro-Reef starts to make micro bubbles it's due to the valve on the air hose being clogged (dust, salt creep). Dave-
