    Reallllly looking forward to documentation on your lumia build. Are you going to use 5 of the meanwell LDDs? If you check RC, there is a thread where a guy put together a board to mount all of your LDDs (5up LDD board is what it was called). Like I said, super excited you bit the bullet on that thing :)/

    like mitch was saying, one of the neat features of the EB8 is that you'll see power consumption charted. If you want to use that feature, you'd have to plug them in, either individually or via a powerstrip plugged in to the EB8.

    I like to be able to control *everything* remotely. If you have the capability and the available ports, why not?

    You could run them all into a single strip, which plugs into the EB8.

    Neither the lights nor the powerheads need to be plugged in to the EB8. You can "dim" them off via the VDM. Problem solved!

    That doesn't seem outrageous for 60 total gallons, depending on how much LR/other filtration you have. It does seem on the heavy side though.

    Surely there is news about this.

    I'd try to get it to as low-flow of a spot as you can find, and keep it a good 6" away from everything else if you can. I'd change carbon too, if it's been a while.
