  1. What chalices are you looking for?
  2. See if the Dome can order for you. (and me)
  3. I just use a scalpel and/or razor blade depending on the size of the frag. A hammer might be involved as well to tap the razor blade through the last stony part. And if there is a nice overhanging ledge of tissue I use a good set of stainless scissors and start cutting but you can get smaller pieces that way. BBM or BGM?
  4. Don, Jeremy and I picked up some fresh cuts of that when we were in Ft. Worth. Since that picture, I had to bust it up and remount to save it. Seems to be doing ok now but it's brown. Then it will turn green. And maybe it'll return to the red wannabe someday. That A. loripe is from AAF. It is super sweet and really stood out among all of the colonies at AAF. The A. robusta colonies stood out too but someone else bought them.
  5. I wouldn't use plastic. I would go to the plumbing aisle.
  6. How much for the stand and canopy?
  7. Do you recommend replenishing the plenum system by adding more sand on top? I've added some sand slowly on occasion but haven't replaced what has settled/dissolved fully.
  8. I'm always looking to improve on my next setup.
  9. Sounds like my setup with no void. Why the void?
  10. Well, if you had a smaller grain size you would have more surface area and could host more anaerobic bacteria than with say, a medium to large grain size. Even if anaerobes were less efficient at denitrification, then the simple fact that there are more "processors" (orders of magnitude more?) could lead to more effective conversion. Come on, Patrick. What's the nickel definition of a Jaubert Plenum?
  11. Make sure to buy the best quality splitter you can as you don't want leaks or ruptures inside your house.
  12. Re: " the oxygan depletion gradiant is slowed down as the depth increases down thru the sandbed" I don't understand this statement and it's connection to grain size. Perhaps, an explanation of the Jaubert Plenum is in order.
  13. ORA Plum Crazy gone Palmer's blue millie frag - gone - could do fresh cut
  14. Nice to meet you Matt. Enjoy your corals and thanks for making your way down to Buda!
  15. Yip, I still have a couple of chalice frags left. Not many though.
  16. I've got several morphs too if you want to swing by some time. I'd have to make fresh cuts for most.
  17. It's possible late this afternoon, I might be in the 'Tek area. What are interested in?
