  1. What is a "duncan?" I tried to look it up and had no luck. I am assuming it is soft, but that is all I found. I use needle a thread to sew softies on to rock. I think it works better then the glue. The trick is dealing with the thread and getting it tight while your hands are wet.
  2. http://austin.craigslist.org/for/318160017.html This person is selling some locally
  3. I need one person to help move a 110 in south austin. All you need to do is help me carry it in the house. I would prefer to do it tomorrow early evening, but I can also do it thursday. It won't take long. thank you James
  4. I bought one of the clear ones. It is on its way from MD. It was only $27 shipped second day. I will tell you if it works. I shouldn't have needed it, but a drilled a tank without think about siphon breaks. It looks like I will another thing to check during routine maintenance.
  5. Nice idea. "Modular aquascaping: the wave of the future" would be the title of your Reepkeeping article
  6. We are looking for some big pieces of live rock. I thought I would check with the club before moving to the stores. Let me know what you have and how much you want for it. thank you James
  7. Talk to Kingfish, thedude here on ARC, they can help you out.
  8. Bump still available. It is in the back of my car as we speak and I want it gone. Did I mention, this is a limited edition ring of fire Cali special 30 High with free visual temperature monitor. Look at that: Pending Pick-up!
  9. Super nice Andrew. Now all we need to do is figure out that UNDERWATER web cam.
  10. Sounds great! It is fun to watch those guys swim around. Have you seen any baby mysis shrimp. Those are crazy because they look just like bigger shrimp and you didn't put them in the tank.
  11. If you find the rock your looking for, let me know. I am interested in your current rock. BTW have you tried emerald crabs? They are supposed to help, but ours don't touch the stuff.
  12. I have three toadstool leather frags for sale. They are super fast growers and doing excellent. I would like $10 a piece. I will be all over Austin saturday. I could deliver them if needed. Here are some pictures. Spoken for: 1. tomanero 2. gone 3. gone frags Mother
  13. Well that sounds pretty convincing. I am definitely leaning toward the stockman. thank you edit: well I changed my mind and will be doing a durso. I was trying to conserve very little space in a six foot long tank. I just needed some perspective. thank you
  14. We are working a new 110 and I am trying to decide what kind of drain pipe to install. Initially I was set on a durso, but the drain is 2". This large plumbing means a full durso is going to take up a lot of tank space. So I was reading about the stockman pipe and thought it would be a good alternative. Does anyone have experience with these? Are there distinct advantages and disadvantages to each? thank you
  15. This is a question for caferacermike or carlosatrivercity. Both of them will probably know the answer. If they don't check savko.com. I just order some stuff from there and it was super easy and pretty fast.
  16. I was just at autozone and they have Krylon fusion. Home depot didn't or at least I couldn't find, but I had a pitbull that was ready to go home with me.
  17. You can paint it with Krylon fusion spray paint for plastics. It is reef safe. You might have to touch it up every once in a while, but it won't take much paint to cover egg crate.
  18. I got some #16 and #4 They don't carry #40. If you don't want the 4 I will keep it.
  19. 9311 Metric Blvd map I to live in south austin. I will pick up the weld-on today and shoot you a PM.
  20. Regal plastics of 183. they have $15 min., but if your buying acrylic it is pretty easy to hit. This may sound weird, but I have to go there tomorrow and get one piece of blue acrylic and could pick up some weld-on up for you. That way we could both hit $15. If not that's cool too.
