  1. (someone give me a hint on how I edit my previous post!) The first rock is pending but if I can't get it sold by Saturday, you are welcome to it. The small candy cane is available but the large is gone. Still have several "blowpops" left. Euphyllia is still available.
  2. All PMs should have been responded to. Will be around today for easy pickup. Yuma and zoa rock is gone (nice meeting you Michelle).
  3. Need to make room on my sand bed and want to share what I've got with you all. First is a multi zoa disk with 20+ polyps of "blow pop" zoas (purple centers w/ yellow mouths and long green skirts). It has a small green yuma on it and a few polyps each of a bright green zoa and a blueish zoa. $20 Yuma with four polyps and 20+ "blow pop". $30 Blow Pop rocks/disks with 20+ polyps each. $15 12+ head very bright green/yellow candy cane. $30 30+ head candy cane with colony of purple and colony of orange zoas. $50 3-4 heads of hybrid euphylia (from Ace's tank in SA) and blow pop colony. $25 Pics are a little blue but they all look great under the t5 and vho's I use. Everything grows pretty fast.
  4. I posted to the zoanthid forum on RC asking about my very pretty (I think) zoas and a few weeks later got an email asking if they could use it for ReefSlides. I just took the picture with a Canon Digital ELPH point and shoot on the macro setting but it came out great. My lights are t-5 with VHO actinic and this is pretty close to WYSIWYG. Here is the link to the slide show. http://reefkeeping.com/joomla/index.php/current-issue/article/17-reefslides Here is the picture itself: Now if I could just figure out the best way of growing these out to where they would stick to the frag instead of the main colony I could share
  5. My bday/father's day presents were a few gift certificates and the "go-ahead" from my lovely spouse on the nano wavebox from Tunze. It is on and functioning but it isn't pushing out the wave quite like I'd like and I wanted anyone's input on their experience. I have a 75g RR tank (48 x 18 x 22(?)). I wanted to put it in the back right corner but have some rock positioned there. It is now on the far left side of the tank, just next to the overflow. I cannot quite get the wave set right and have fiddled with the delay from none to "all the way" with not great results. Any ideas on the best way of tuning this?
  6. Well darn! I guess I will just have to get $100 worth of snails then myself. Glad those zoas are doing you right. Which ones did you get? Dylan
  7. I removed all the rock and did a full clean of my 75g and took inventory of my cleanup crew. It is pretty pathetic and I was turned on to reeftopia which looks to have some really good snails and crabs. I was wondering if anyone wanted to join with me to get free shipping or even a discount in a large-ish order. I suppose it could even be a group buy but since I have never handled one before, I am not sure I want to responsibility of 5+ peoples inverts. Dylan
  8. I have an 4' Oceanic cherry stained oak canopy available. It is probably 5 years old has been modified some and is in need of TLC. PM me if interested. I'd trade it cheap.
  9. Here is the an example of the yuma. I may be able to frag 1-2 polyps off which I would sell for $5 each.
  10. I have some 10-30 polyp frags of these zoanthids I could bring to the meeting tomorrow if anyone is interested. I would ask $5-$15 per colony and have 3-4 total. I also have a rock with very green yumas with a purple base on it. It has at least 6 polyps on it and I would ask $20 for it.
  11. All PMs responded too and may be out of frags if everyone gets what they asked for. I will update as necessary.
  12. It was actually the evil sent mail folder
  13. I I am paying more attention to my tank and things are really starting to grow (corals as well as cyano unfortunately). I have some zoanthids that could easily be fragged. I am interested in other colorful zoanthid species or LPS frags in trade. My camera isn't great and I am a total novice in using it but these are actually fairly close to how they look in my tank. If I end up selling them, I would guess around a dollar a polyp or around $20 for the big ones. These were sold to me as "blowpops" but don't look as vibrant in my tank as they did in the sales picture. I like the tie-dyed effect. This is actually the smaller "frag" of this green skirted, blue edged, cream centered zoas. They grow extremely fast in my tank. I have two frags this size which were growing next to some fire and ice that will be fragable soon. I live in Oak Hill and will be around this weekend if anyone is interested. Take care, Dylan
  14. Cleaning out the sump and my chaeto filled almost a 5 gallon bucket. I am keeping about half so the other half is up for grabs before it heads out to the compost pile. Call me at 301-9733 if interested. I will keep it around until Sunday. I am in Oak Hill near north Circle C. Dylan
