  1. now someone should do ones with dwarf humans in there with an orca on the outside looking in
  2. I have 4 branching duncan frags available. I can either bring these in to work with me for pick up off mopac and duval or you can pick up at my house off the 130 toll and MLK. Prices below and I am open for trades so let me know. #1 - $50 - 5 heads #2 (left) $10 - 1 head #3(right) $15 - 2 heads #4 $30 - 3 heads
  3. Same here although my excuse is I'm not in the photograpy section as often as other people *cough* jake*cough* . Guess this should of gotten posted or at least linked in the meeting post. I really want to play with the idea of the fish tank trailer video. Maybe next time.
  4. I guess if their all babies it's doable...
  5. Use Red Sea test kits. At first they were a little too difficult for me to use but now that I have it down I test weekly.
  6. I went through the gamet as well trying to deal with nuisance algae. I would begin a vodka dosing schedule as stated by juiceman. Here is the link to give you the info and charts http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2008-08/nftt/index.php A bottle of 100 proof vodka cost me $13 so worse case scenario it doesn't work and you can drink til you forget about it. I would also begin a weekly cleaning regiment of your return pump and skimmer collection cup as well as a 20% water change stiring up the sand as well If some of the rock is easily movable then I would dunk it in RO/DI water a couple of times but I don't think cooking all your rock is the answer. If you have some funds I would also invest in a phosban reactor that you can get for $50 and run rowaphos. If you just pull everything out and try to start fresh theirs no guarantee that it won't come back so give vodka and a phosban a chance.
  7. Yes Monday to allow some people to get in. Looks like with just you and me we have free shipping covered.
  8. I already have a GB account so even if it's just 2 or 3 people everyone would already get the discounted prices and free shipping if we can make another $90.
  9. I'm in need of some filter media. Total will be about $85 and free shipping is $175 so wanted to see if anyone needs anything. I plan on placing the order Monday Oct 29th. Delivery pick up will be at my work between 9-5 at Mopac and Duval or after 6 at my house off the SH130 toll and MLK. You can either paypal me the money to [email protected] , bank transfer if you have BOA or Chase, or good ole' cash works as well.
  10. Ouch. Yea thankfully it was a garage spill. I would recommend taking your wife out to a nice dinner and movie then putting a hole in the wall. Your other option is do it prison break style with a spoon over several months but that hole has to get done.
  11. Who else can't wait to put their hand in the tank when they get off?

  12. I really like this one and it would be perfect on my desk
  13. I will be there with the wife and a 5 gallon tank and I'll see if she wants to do alcoholic gummies again or try something else.
  14. Welcome to the club. I would check out the seahorse section and KimP is a great resource as well.
  15. I wouldn't want to put the crud my skimmer pulls out back into my tank. Whenever I feed I now take the return pump offline and clean it while the fish and coral are eating. This way its not wasting coral food and it allows me to keep my system cleaner by removing stuff that ends up in the return pump if not eaten.
  16. It gets mysis from the water column during feeding days and I dose kent zooplex every 3 days. Some of the frags I have given people have double in size in bio cubes (KimP, Chippwalters) due to low water movement and feedings. With my tank being as deep as it is I need the water movement so when my pumps turn off at night is when they look the biggest.
  17. I will have some more duncans, regular and australian. I may only have 1 or 2 heads of the australian and the regular I have a 5 head frag, and a couple 2 and 1 head frags. I also have an unknown mushroom that I'll bring with me. 20+ headed Mother Colony I am looking for Blue or Orange Digitata, LPS (Trumpets, Blastos, Candy Cane) and anything that catches my eye. I've tried going the acro and zoa route but they just don't work in my tank.
  18. Thanks Patrick. I'm reading this at work so it'll take a while but I'm looking for an alternative to chaeto since I'm still having an algae problem and although it's a dense ball now I don't have much biodiversity on it and I'm looking for something that won't tear so easily and get stuck in my return pump.
  19. I wouldn't see why not. You should touch base with subsea as he has several outdoor seaweed growout tanks and if I'm correct he has saltwater mollies living in them as well.
  20. That sucks. I used the same silicon for my dividers on my sump. When your ready hit me up and I'll get you another duncan head.
  21. If the wife is asking for a bigger tank then you better make it about her and get her a big one. Gotta keep the wife happy!
  22. Comal River is my pick. http://www.tubetexas.com/rivers/comal-river.html You can bring alcohol but they have to be in a non-disposable container http://www.tubetexas.com/new-tubing-rules.html
