  1. Yes, for the light requirement, a 4 bulb HO on a 10 gallon would be perfect (also water parameter: ie: skimming, testing come into play of course). I would stick to digi's and birdsnest or LPS, softies. I have a large colony of digi that he loves the most. He sits on other LPS's like my candy canes or Chalice's. Not my torch...nothing to sit on..lol. He's up top in the green digi colony:
  2. Unfortunately for the setup you have now I cannot recommend any coral, except mushrooms or similar low light species. You may pick up a T5-HO 2 bulb fixture at the dome for like $40. I would get two fixtures for a total of 4 bulbs. Panda Gobies, like clown gobies live in branches in the wild. Therefore he would like a coral w/ branches. My clown goby moves from colony to colony and even sits on LPS corals (he actually sits on anything, power heads..etc)
  3. you lucky dawg, you got buy one get two free
  4. I can drive (two door honda coupe ) , or be green and chip in and ride with someone.
  5. I just purchased my ticket and gourmet box
  6. thanks Mike! For that price I'll pick one up. I guess I could use it for camping or tailgating ....
  7. I went home and hooked up a huge APC UPS. Just plugged the heater and MP10 into it. It might last 4 hours....
  8. Looking good! How did you get your clam to stay in place? I have placed my little guy on multiple small rocks sitting on the sand bed and he keeps jumping off. I guess mine just likes the sand.
  9. I'd like some Kedd Reds and one of the frog spawns. What is your availability tomorrow?
  10. call ecotech. My support experience with them was good.
  11. I have not done this. I am interested in making a rock wall but using LR for the structure of the reef. there is a good build thread of a 20 gallon with a rock wall on the DIY forum.
  12. Mike, the frag I received from you a while back is turning green/blue under my T5's. I think it's a cool looking coral.
  13. yea, aquascaping can be difficult. I try to make it look natural while at the same time leaving space for water to flow around the rocks, therefore helping remove detritus.
  14. They'll sign the books for a frag....haha
  15. Thanks for the invite offroad. I appreciate it. I guess ya'll are planning on leaving Sat morning and coming back in the evening? Mike, if you decide to go we both live close to each other so we can carpool as well.
  16. I am also planning on attending.....I'm looking forward to the speakers
  17. I have a clown goby and a few SPS. He does not nip at them, but he does sit on them, and any other coral in the tank.
  18. +1 This has been my experience. I have a leopard wrasse who may be hunting them down and I have seen no more than a few in two years.
  19. Not too bad. They clean up some stuff. I've had my tank for two years and seen a few...nothing died
