  1. Thanks Liz! When I moved my rock into this tank I could not see in it at all so this is what I ended up with. Now that it is clear I think I want to split it up. i need to go see Prof and get a few flat rocks. Maybe have two mounds with one big flat rock as a bridge in the back perhaps.
  2. I like the Caribsea Aragamax select. 0.5mm to 1.5mm size
  3. Thanks for the advice James. I just moved from a 28 gallon Jebe R362 (acrylic tank) to this standard 29 gallon glass tank. I used new sand when I made the move from reading posts on ARC. I kept all the live rock from the old tank. I have been testing for nitrates every other day. So far so good. I made the move teo weeks ago.
  4. Updated pictures of my tank. I plan on re doing the rock work and putting half the rock on one side and half on the other with open sand in the middle. Actinic Lighting Moon Lights
  5. Read books......and hoped they experienced what the writer experienced. Which probably equated to dead corals and fish only tanks

  12. I think 8.0 PH is ok too. If you grabbed the water in the morning then it would be lower anyway. As long as your PH is btw 7.9 - 8.4 I say its all good....IMO.
  13. Forgot to mention, you can get hermits pretty cheap from Rockin Reefs, one of our sponsors
  14. I would recommed 10-15 more hermits
  15. I'll take the big rock on the right.
  16. Lots of Coralline algae now...very nice. I like they way it looks on the back wall.
