How much for the blue mushrooms? I dont have too much blue in my tank and would like some. I have a good place for them also.

I keep my Skimmer and pumps on. I pour it at the front of the tank so the current makes it hit the glass. Then its pushed down to the sand bed and through my rock. I dose bi weekly.

I use it also and dont have any problem with any algae! great stuff!

I've seen bulbs that color but only after several months of use.

It may be over heating. How much space does it have to breath? Do you have a light on your sump?

Thats a very good question. When i was doing my tank transfer i broke(accident) the plastic center brace on my 75 and was hesitant to finish the swap. I added the sand,rock, and the water and then waited. Everything seemed ok so i added the CUC and livestock. The next day I notice a little bowing and measured. It was 1/4 of an inch so I left it alone. Its been a month now and its the same measurement. I may try to fix it but I dont know how.

During the meeting I will be raffling off a few corals. The money will go to ARC. You guys have given me so much i would like to give a little back. First will be a 4x3"colony of healthy German Blue Digitata. Also will have a 1.5x.5" frag of healthy Neon green Hydnophora.(Horn Coral) I will be serving shrimp(ironic) wrapped in bacon w/jalapenos.(aka shrimp diablos) For those who eat the queso i will be giving a free frag of green Pocillpora to whomever can guess the "secret ingredient" in it. There will be beverages for the children and adults as well as other treats and eats. So if you can make it I would love your company, if not i will see you at the next meeting.

I bought the K3 in January of this year from Aquatek and i had the K2 for at least a year. Both work fine. I thought I had lost the K2. I had a 37g tank last year that I used it in and ended up breaking the tank down. I stored it and forgot about it. I come to Austin just about everyday. I actually have them in my car now. I work in Round Rock at the intersection of I-35 and Toll road 45 if you would like to pick them up.

I was cleaning out my drawers in my garage and ran across one of my Maxi jet 1200's, and a Koralia 2. I also have a Koralia 3 I just pulled out my tank.(New Wave maker) I will be keeping the maxi jet because i will use it to mix my saltwater. I will sale the K2 for $17 and the K3 for $25.

I have two skimmers on my 75g and only need one. So I am selling my Remora Aqua C skimmer with maxi jet 1200 pump and the Surface skimmer/Pre Filter box. The Pre- Filter box cost me $30 by itself. I have had it for about a year and still works like its brand new. Will, do you have any type of mechanical filtration? If you have a HOB filter laying around put it on your tank for a few hours. That should help with the cloudiness and waste removal. Whats in your sump? I believe your nitrates will come down once your tank cycles. 5ppm is pretty low. I know you want it at 0ppm though. Keep us posted!

I have not had cyano in a while. But when I did, i did a few things and it just disappeared. It may also depend on how you stack your rock. I do not stack rock on any of my walls.(side or back) First I turned my to power heads in opposite directions. One faced the back wall(K3) and the other(K2) toward the front. I then added more Cerith snails and blue legged hermits crabs. I also boosted my water changes from once every two weeks to once every week. I stopped dosing as much too. If something was recommended twice a week I only did it once. These methods have worked on all of my tanks. Before and after I switched to a bigger tank.

Andy, You have some awesome deals going. I was trying to slow down, but with these types of deals you are making it very hard!

Will I can show you how to set up a fan on that light fixture. You only have to buy one of those $6 fans you saw at my house. it will look nice not clunky and when you remove your fixture from the tank the fan will be with it. It kept that tank between 78 and 80 degrees.(no higher than 82) My house is hot(always 77), so if you were to keep yours at 75-78degrees your tank temps may be even lower. LMK

Justin I see you restacked that rock. Did you catch that fish you were after? You better watch that Xenia it spreads fast. I just got rid of all of mine and scrub the rock they were on.; Your tank looks really good though. I just added a wave maker box to my tank and trying to see if I have enough flow without the Koralia 2&3.

Yes, I love the colors and "pop" of the SPS, but rarely do you see that many scoly's in a tank. I love the little doughnuts!

I cant trade you, but I would be interested in buying one of those. LMK Laura(Mama) has some ricordea rocks that have orange and green Rics on them. I have both orange and green but I want to keep them. I would love to add a purple!
