offroadodge
Ok, so I'm not one to boast but I have to say this is the best vacation yet. I am swimming with Morish Idols, Toby puffers, box fish, butterflies, tangs I have never seen in the store, and some fish so pretty I don't even know what they are. Tons of GoPro and stills shot when I get back Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk

Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Nice! My wife and I honeymooned in Moorea, Bora Bora, and Tahiti last year. The diving was pretty good in Moorea with lots of amazing maxima clams in the shallows. If you're going back to Papeete, I thought the snorkeling right off the Intercontinental Resort was the best out of all 3 islands and was even better than some of our dive sites. Also, if you're on Moorea then you absolutely have to go to Snack Mahana. Probably the most memorable food experience we had the entire two weeks we were there with huge portions, great quality, and prices that won't break the bank. Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Here's the portions we got at Snack Mahana. The curry shrimp was to die for IMO. And it was fun to throw the shrimp heads into the water and see the crazy feeding frenzy from the fish.

offroadodge
So our last day we went to Papeete Tahiti and walked around all day, we walked up what I believe was a wholesalers tank. These are all Moorish Idols, over 100 easy. And this was snorkeling one afternoon @ Club Bali Hai. A nice size jackfish. This was one morning from our porch Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk
offroadodge
Ok, so someone is gonna have to school me on video uploads and how? I stuck the GoPro down in these tank to get videos of corals and fish but they are HUGE file size. To big for here. Sissy36
Great pictures! French Polynesia is on my vacation list. I'm definitely going now. As far as reducing file size I used to have to do it often. There is a thread on the subject specifically but I can't remember the name. Ultimately you download the file to another website and then import it from that location. The website I use is called photobucket. I think they have an app but I could be wrong. I just re read your post. *Video* being the operative word. I'm not sure with videos, sorry
