DerrickH
Im completely new to this hobby but can say Im really enjoying it. I have a few tanks laying around(55g long, 20g tall, 10g) but mainly focusing on my 40g acrylic. Bought the tank about 3 weeks ago and just now got my sump and stand put together. If it wasnt for the weather I would have the stand clear coated already. Going to be at least a few months before its up an running with any livestock in it. Long way to go.....Some pics below. offroadodge
great looking so far, I like the '70 Chevelle in the forground. I had a '70 SS ElCamino with a 454 and BigShot Nitrous System, "IT WAS FUN"
DerrickH
Well have made some progress. Took the day off to take care of a laundry list of things to do and managed to get all my plumbing done. Also urathaned my cannopy and stand. Hoping to have some water in it this weekend and leakchecking it.

DerrickH
Well this project has been for lack of a better work, HELL! One thing right after another has slowed its progress down to almost a creep but now Ive finally managed to get it off the ground. Had to do a lot of modifications since I was unhappy with the way things were plumbed, flow rates, and general overall appearance. Moved the tank into my daughters room since there is no sunlight in her room(call it the bat cave) and its much cooler in there. My GF is "tropical" I guess, she likes a warm house....and me and my fish dont so ended up purchasing a new chiller(chiller experience was a pain...BUY NEW!). Anyways enough of my rant, here are some shots of the tank and my progress. Big difference.. Added hardware media reactor Spectrapure RO/DI unit extreme 200 skimmer 6000 pump external vortec mp10 2 X 36" T5HO sunlight supply(10,000k x 2-460nm x 2) JBJ 1/10 chiller
