Will
Ok, im in the slow process of upgrading all of my equipment. should i get my rodi up and running (all i need is new media and rodi membrane, and some instructions on how to hook it up) (im assuming around 100 for all the stuff) or should i get my new skimmer (my old one is not terrible, but by no means is it great) (going to cost me 200) i can only do one this month, unless i choose a different skimmer. wayneb
For help with the RO/DI go to the BSR site - they have vids that provide info you need. wayneb
pbnj
As long as you have access to RO/DI water (e.g., LFS), you should make the skimmer your priority.

Robb in Austin
Buy that Deltec for sale in the for sale section. Great skimmer. Good for up to about 120g.
Will
900 is a bit out of my price range
Robb in Austin
She's asking 150 for it. Edit: I just saw the $900 posting. This is the one I was talking about; http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/12659-deltec-ap600-skimmer/

Rjohn
Will do you have an auto topoff on your system? If you don't then your skimmer will have problems running efficiently.
Will
yes i do have an auto top-off, Thanks ric this is the skimmer i have currently http://www.fishtanksdirect.com/currentusafissionrecirculatingproteinskimmerupto150gallons.aspx this is what im planning on buying http://www.nuocean.com/skimmers/bubble-magus-nac6.html
Rjohn
I like the way the pump is underneath the bubble chamber. That makes for a much smaller foootprint.
Timfish
Well, since I don't run skimmers on most of my tanks I'd focus on the rodi unit.
