I think she may be scratching herself or something. she has been going to the overflow at night and the overflow is really ruff from old coralline algae. she swims fine eats well does everything normal..

They are bumps. They seem to be clearing up I been feeding garlic extract in the food. It's not ad pronounced as they were befor. Matt

i wouldnt do anything till a TDS meter is involved, that way you can be sure. Other wise you mite ebdup with an algae breakout and be very disappointed.. the BRS order will be in soon then you will know..

i may be interested in this. i kinda would like to run it. right now i have a DIY but its a gallon bottle and i just dip it into the system this seems better. BTW dont see the new car sales movie w/ Jeremy pivion it blows badly!..

Note: i always did this from the shower head, not sure if it will be the same on the laundry side, but i wouldnt think it should be any different..

heres what you do, take a gallon ziplock bag open it all the way up around the facet open it up full blast for 30secs 5 inches is a gallon in the bag, so if the bag is 1/2 full in 30secs then you have 5-6gallons per min.. this is just for a ruff estimate. i used to use this trick when i worked for Marriott i did engineering quality control and inspections. (basicly i went to properties and made sure they were up to standards in the engineering aspect) i was a chief engineer for 5 yrs prior. anyway it works and its fairly accurate..

bad pressure = not so good ro water. if you are having bad pressure problems then the ro/di wont work correctly. you may have to install a booster pump.. do you have a TDS meter on both sides of the ro?

I dont believe i would use great stuff at all in my tank. no one know if their are any long term effects.. I posted a thread on DIY rock. collectively the forum came up with a rock wall molded with the DIY rock.. i believe thats a better option. i have a buddy that made his rock and its been more than 6 months and its completely colored up..

It seems to be getting worse. they are little white bumps on the female i tried to take a good pick with no luck so i will post a bad one you can see some of the spots/bumps i havnt introduced anything new to the tank in few days i added some polys but no fish. Also shes eatting normal and swimming normal, not acting sick in any way. the male is showing no signs of anything..

im using the Glassbox method VSV. this is what AndrewT suggested and i felt it was best.. i have done tons of research pretty much read everything i could get my little grubby hands on.. lol

Been dosing for 3 days. i posted pics to show what the tank looks like from the begining. i have been dosing 0.1ml per 100g with no visible results yet. i added the BioDigest today..
