it that big of a tank w/ sump your looking at like 300g if not more. mite be better running 2 skimmrs at 150g

i had a 42g and i used a corallife aqua pro it was 250w MH w phoenix 14k and 2 compact pc lights it was 380 total i believe. and had luner lights. i really liked this fixture and regret selling it. not that i have a use for it but non the less i liked the fixture it was 24" but would fit up to a 33" tank. i think it kinda expensive but well worth the cash. my tank loved this light, my corals grew extremely well sps and lsp. also it being ontop of my tank my tank would only fluctuate the heat by 1 degree. if i had it to do all over again id get the 38" version for my 90g and run canopy less.. aquatek uses the 46" version on all their SW tanks. they use the 2x 250w MH with the phoenix 14ks and 4 PC lights. Robert.H now has this light and loves it aswell. they also have a 150w version too.

I used the two fishies reactor i like it. i have it hooked to a rio1100 and i run phos and carbon in it. and from the return hose out of the reactor i have it flowing over the top of some purigen i heard about the purigen bags being weak and braking so i wrapped it in a spandex bag and zippy tied it. i just added the purigen yesterday so we will see what happends. but i like the two fishies reactor it works well and easy to clean..

well i have the corallife RO unit. you really dont need the DI atleast from what i have been told. i dont use one and have no algae problems and i have 0 TDS from my output. i have the 25gpd unit with the 75gpd membrane and flow re stricter. works great gives me all the water i need.. ebay sells them for pretty cheap to with free shipping. i saw one for 84.00 6 stage it was umm costreef i just looked. and its 91.00 now w/ free shipping.

Its a nice setup, if i could afford it i would buy it quick.

Means more trips to the LFS just to get a fix.. hes gonna have to ween off it with reef screen savers.

I will, im thinking about the reflectors.. if i do i will grab whatever you need..

Dustin, the vho ballast and ends can it be used w/o the harness?

wished i had se fixtures thats good prices.. correct me if im wrong but you can use a 250w bulb in a 400w ballast and fixture correct?

The corals are doing great just got the last of them acclimated. they are super nice.. i am very happy with the new additions.. thanks again! btw my buddy is still txting me about your 260g lol thats a big tank nice fowlr..

Great meeting you, it really is a nice tank even thought i took alot out of it, still alot of nice pieces and rock.. someone needs to jump on that Green Hydnophora that thing is big and beautiful!

Tonight it seens to have gotten worse, i think she is losing scales but still she swims and acts fine, like nothings wrong..

No, but its getting better. its not very noticeable now at all.. im just going to watch it for another day or 2. see what happends.. thanks for the advice. ill post more as it progresses..
