  1. I need some, would give you a pink birds nest frag for it but can't pick up until fri or sat.
  2. How old are your lights? If they are older than 8 months it may be time to change them. Do you have cyano in the fuge? If not then keep the light on to keep PH more stable. What is your water source for top off and water changes? If ti is not RO water then that is probably the source of your problem. You can get rid of cyano in 4 days with Maracyn, but it is a temp fix if you don't find the problem first.
  3. No, BRS knows that people combine orders to save on shipping. They are not going to change the prices after the fact just because only 6-8 orders were placed. I ordered Tues. as soon as I received the email and had my stuff Friday. BRS is a great sponsor to have and definitely have some great deals. Best of all everyone who signed up gets preferred member status from here on out. You don't have to wait for the next group buy to get discounts. Preferred prices are between regular and group buy but still very good.
  4. Thanks guys, good talking to you tonight.
  5. Thanks, I also have a closed loop run by a Iwaki 40rlxt. Thanks, I went to the first Friday sale tonight but made myself wait (it was hard ). I want to make sure everything is stable before I start adding. It will definitely be fun
  6. It's up and running. I finished late last night. I also did a mesh mod to my NWB 150 skimmer to help with the larger tank.
  7. I just posted a 45g in the for sale listing if you are interested
  8. What kind of corals are you wanting? If you want softies and LPS do t-5. If you think you want SPS then you need MH. I would say at least 2x 175w MH on a 75g tank. You should look at The Bulk Reef Supply group buy going on this week. They have great prices and I have never been disapointed with their products. I have not ordered lights from them though. Yuo can get on the group buy any time this week or there are several members combining orders to save on shipping. Check out the group buy thread.
  9. Order is in and already shipped. Says I should have it on Friday.
  10. Has anyone received an email verifying the buy has started?
  11. Welcome... Post some pics of the 750 when you get it. That would be a good build thread. What are you going to run for lighting 3 or 4 400w MH? I don't envy the 150g per month water changes.
  12. The pump is rated for the skimmer. You can call or email Coralvue they can tell you if there are any possible alternatives. Another option would be to add a second skimmer but I think you would be better off with 1 big skimmer I would look for something rated at 150g or bigger for a 100g tank. Coralvue makes really good skimmers for the price. If it is at all possible I would suggest a sump or a recirculating skimmer.
  13. Just pm Reef Pug your email addy associated with your BRS acct. If you don't have an acct then go to the web site and set one up then email him the info
  14. It's inside with 160lbs of sand and 50lbs of rock. I need a new RO filter and a mag 12 to have it running I have about 70lbs of rock in my 45g waiting for water.
  15. Welcome, Please ask questions too many people jump in to the hobby and don't. They spend way to much money buying things twice. We are happy to help and look forward to you being here.
  16. A water softener will remove the calcium but that is about it. Everything else (that you don't want) stays in the water.
  17. I know that the last group buy I did( through a different forum) we had to have it in by Fri. before but Andrew was going out of town so that might have been the dif. Either way I thought he needed it before the day it starts.
  18. When did Andrew need the list for this to happen this week?
  19. Pug do you have everyones email address that coresponds to their BRS acct? If anyone doesn't have a BRS.acct they need to go to the site and do it. It is quick and easy. So we are a go for Tues.? BTW I am sending you a pm with mine.
  20. Hey peeps, I just bought two of the 2 part kits a couple weeks ago. I have been using Bionic 2 part daily, BRS's product is just as good but a lot cheeper. Test your kh, ca,mag and ph as you dose for a few days to determine how much you need to maintain Kh( I keep my dKh at about 10) and your ph will remain stable at about 8.4. After about a week I quit testing daily and only test once every week or 2. You only add mag once a week. Buy the kit that raises ph( recipe 1). I have not used the reef chili. I think their rox 08 carbon is the best on the market if you need carbon. JMO
  21. Looks great. I like the rock work. One of these days I would like to come by and see the whole set up.
  22. I Andrew would let us slide with 8 if you asked him, if we can not get 10. Are we at 7 now or who is actually in?
