  1. I hate conflicts with neighbors, happy to hear everything has worked out.
  2. I would like one and can pick up later today.
  3. All I have is the picture of it. I did not know what it was and did not move it to the new tank. The larger portion was about 1 1/4" the smaller was about 1 3/4". It used the smaller to dig and pull its self back under the sand. I learned a saying from a friend on another forum, When in doubt get it out. It was probably safe to keep but I was not sure.
  4. I have seen "Spies like us" a few times also.
  5. Are you quoting Dan Ackroyd on that one?
  6. I found this in the sand bed when I was moving from my 45 to the 120g. I have no idea what it is or how long it has been in the tank. The 45 was set up originally in 1995 so there has been a lot go through the tank in that much time.
  7. looks good, I would definitely use some epoxy or attach the rocks together some how
  8. I need some, would give you a pink birds nest frag for it but can't pick up until fri or sat.
  9. How old are your lights? If they are older than 8 months it may be time to change them. Do you have cyano in the fuge? If not then keep the light on to keep PH more stable. What is your water source for top off and water changes? If ti is not RO water then that is probably the source of your problem. You can get rid of cyano in 4 days with Maracyn, but it is a temp fix if you don't find the problem first.
  10. No, BRS knows that people combine orders to save on shipping. They are not going to change the prices after the fact just because only 6-8 orders were placed. I ordered Tues. as soon as I received the email and had my stuff Friday. BRS is a great sponsor to have and definitely have some great deals. Best of all everyone who signed up gets preferred member status from here on out. You don't have to wait for the next group buy to get discounts. Preferred prices are between regular and group buy but still very good.
  11. Thanks guys, good talking to you tonight.
  12. Thanks, I also have a closed loop run by a Iwaki 40rlxt. Thanks, I went to the first Friday sale tonight but made myself wait (it was hard ). I want to make sure everything is stable before I start adding. It will definitely be fun
  13. It's up and running. I finished late last night. I also did a mesh mod to my NWB 150 skimmer to help with the larger tank.
  14. I just posted a 45g in the for sale listing if you are interested
  15. What kind of corals are you wanting? If you want softies and LPS do t-5. If you think you want SPS then you need MH. I would say at least 2x 175w MH on a 75g tank. You should look at The Bulk Reef Supply group buy going on this week. They have great prices and I have never been disapointed with their products. I have not ordered lights from them though. Yuo can get on the group buy any time this week or there are several members combining orders to save on shipping. Check out the group buy thread.
  16. Order is in and already shipped. Says I should have it on Friday.
  17. Has anyone received an email verifying the buy has started?
  18. Welcome... Post some pics of the 750 when you get it. That would be a good build thread. What are you going to run for lighting 3 or 4 400w MH? I don't envy the 150g per month water changes.
  19. The pump is rated for the skimmer. You can call or email Coralvue they can tell you if there are any possible alternatives. Another option would be to add a second skimmer but I think you would be better off with 1 big skimmer I would look for something rated at 150g or bigger for a 100g tank. Coralvue makes really good skimmers for the price. If it is at all possible I would suggest a sump or a recirculating skimmer.
  20. Just pm Reef Pug your email addy associated with your BRS acct. If you don't have an acct then go to the web site and set one up then email him the info
