    Large Tiger Cowrie

http://www.austinree...&attach_id=8799 Ok, i traded edgar for this. turns out it is not a conch, but a tiger cowrie. anyone interested can trade me, or it will go to a lfs. cowries clean, BUT, they are reef safe with caution. they can eat nems, seastars and soft corals, if not WELL fed. i have an anemone i could not stand to see harmed. so, with that said, if you have problem nems, or some algae, it can take care of it, I will take corals/snails/hermits for trade.

  15. Do not believe the rumors, bunnies are not reef safe. mine found a way to slide under my sump, and behind my tank. she proceeded to kill wiring to the cooling fans, atleast she was nice enought to kill the power to 3 ballasts so as not to over heat. then killed power to 1 return pump.

  20. Oh no, she was not too much trouble at all, and i was happy to see her through her recovery. I had to choose between catching her, or stressing the tang more. I knew she could take the move to a new tank easier. she is a beautiful girl. UPDATE on the tank. week 2 of the TLC SAT and i have almost NO algae. I also added carbon, and a phosban to a canister filter. will post pics tonight.
  21. hard to say . i had 60lbs of it in a 55gl for about 2 months, then moved to the 90gl, started to cycle some more, added 50lbs more rock, looks like it has started a bit of a cycle too. i have a canister set up with carbon, but i need to get some gfo. was going to try to get in on the BRS group buy, but i might be a little short on money. was thinking of asking if someone could spare some for $5-$10. and thx for the compliment. i had to change it up a bit. had to remove most of it to catch the banana wrasse, it was attacking the tang, and the poor scopas started to show signs of ick.
  22. it is kinda goofy, but you have to click on their name go to their profile and try to send from there. the window that comes up is not what we are used to, but it works
