  1. Looking to sell a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone (RBTA). Approximately 4 inches across. Asking $80. The anemone for sale is a clone of the one in the picture. My clowns like to go back and forth and were in this one when I was taking pictures.
  2. One is about 7 inches and two are about 3-4 inches across. I have two clowns that are very loving and like to go back and forth between the three.
  3. I have 3 RBTA in my tank right now. Would be willing to sell one. Look great, no signs of green. Let me know.
  4. Thought some of you might get a kick out of this. http://store.glennz.com/clownfish.html
  5. I'm definitely in for one, possibly two.
  6. I'm good either way. It might be nice to have a larger group buy scheduled for a week or two to let others get in on it. It seems there are always people wanting an ATO and autotopoff.com seems to be the favorite place to get them. I'm not in a rush as this is mainly a convince for me.
  7. I'm looking for 2 Auto Top Off systems. I'm probably going to order them from autotopoff.com but wanted to see if anyone had one for sale first.
  8. If you never made it to tate1's house of corals, these lights work great. They grow coral like crazy.
  9. Sold. It was nice meeting you Doug. I'll see you soon when you pick up the rest of the equipment.
  10. I use the two net method which works pretty well. Fish are naturally great at getting away from one predator. If there are two predators they have a much harder time running away. Sometimes I just use one net to chase a fish into another net. Sometimes I will try and actively catch with both nets. This two net method works surprisingly well.

  12. Daniel, Just to clear up any confusion, I believe Pat is referring to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). They are outlets typically found around water areas like kitchens and baths. Pat has some great advise here. Something every reefer must have is a GFCI outlet to protect humans, fish, corals, and all those other critters. You can literally loose an entire tank or worse without them. I've seen two posts, just this year, on ARC where people have come home to almost everything being dead. Make sure to read the directions carefully before installing. Follow them exactly and you should have no problems. They are cheap, about $10 at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes... and take about 10 min to install. John
  13. Pat, Are you keeping a log/journal? As you live in Austin, I think they would be pertinent to those of us on this site who might want to try it. I know I'd be interested to see your findings with your outside tank experiments.
  14. Just saw this on their site Yellow Tang - Limit 1 with $79.99 Minimum Purchase! $9.99
  15. If you wanted something huge, you missed my 50 (to mabey 100) head hammer colony by a couple weeks. I do have more euphyllia that I might be wanting to sell soon. I have a 2 types of hammer, 2 types of frogspawn, and 2 types of torch. I also have 3 types of Duncans. I'm not sure what I'll be selling yet, but should be posting some on Sunday.
  16. I'm taking apart a 75 gallon this weekend and selling about 45 lbs of live rock and about 50 lbs of live sand. I have someone interested in the rock and possibly live sand, but I am taking backups. Live rock $3/lb Live sand $1/lb
  17. I am wanting to put together a cheap frag rack and wanted some input. I most people make them out of mag floats (I a mag float for that already). Can you use other magnets too? Do they need to be treated or can you use ones from Home Depot/Lowes? I believe magnets will rust, but I have seen people who have made frag racks out what seem to be bare magnets. One person stated they just bought one from Home Depot. Thanks for any advise.
  18. Sounds good James. I'll see you at the meeting with the shrimp.
