  9. I'm in the get a new tank corner. I bought a used 130G tank about 4 yrs ago that turned out to be a leaker, I took great care prepping/resealed it and made it into an in-wall, that was running fine up until a month ago. I came home from being gone for 4 day's to sheetrock and wood floor damage. I'm never buying a used tank again.

  13. Howdy Ben, I also have relocated back to this area and still trying to settle into thing's. Best advice I can give you is to be patient and to do your due diligence..research wise. There are many way's to setup a successful tank but buying the correct equipment will certainly make it easier in the long run. Plan your critter's carefully, make sure they are compatable and then introduce them in the correct order. Buy good LR, get your flow and lighting set and make sure you have a good understanding of how water chemistry works and the benefit's of keeping it balanced.   18. Bought this setup from a fellow Dallas transplant as a temporary setup but delayed due to my house in dallas not selling yet. 40g tank (24x24x18" T) with single 1.5" overflow (glassholes.com). The return plumbing is coming up and over the top. Custom Oak stand for tank built by Chris Tate's dad (It was originally built for a 60g but the above 40 g fits perfectly). Has a custom drawer with cut out for Profilux Custom Oak canopy (also built by Mr. Tate) with room for 8x24w T5 lamps, 2 icecap fans (included) and T5 ballasts. 3 T5 ballasts to power a total of 6 T5 lamps Endcaps, Oceanrunner 2500 return pump Plumbing Here are some pictures. Contact via PM or email Stand has 5 holes cut out, 3 for 1" pipe and 2 to wires, etc. Custom drawer with holes cut out for wires, etc. Rusty hinge Canopy Holes cutout for heat to escape Ballast and endcaps Ocean runner 2500 (650gph) Also included is the following sump. It fits nicely in the stand and even has an ATO/filter sock holder included. I also have a 10g glass tank that that was used as ATO tank. Fits inside the stand as well. .
