  1. When did you purchase them and do you have receipts and original packaging?

I purchased these used about 2yrs ago and had to replace the wetsides on both unit's. The manf date's are both Mar 2010, I did not receive any packaging when I bought these.

    Cheers,

  2. How low do you consider ridiculous? Lowest you'll take for both?

My lowest price is $400 right now, how much do you feel like you should pay for these? Are you interested in what kind of condition these or is price the #1 priority ???

    Cheers,

Typically when I'm buying any sort of used product I try not to pay more than half of retail, regardless of what condition the seller says the item is in. Not knowing the history of the item, I don't know how long it will last compared to new. I figure if something breaks, and I can find a second one for around the same price, I had 2 tries for the price of a new one. If the product craps out and I bought it new, then I would of course turn to the manufacturer for a warranty, which I assume doesn't transfer over with a used product. Thats just me. I'm sure you'll sell them.

I have only seen one of these sold at half of retail when a new wetside is needed, $200 is the market price on this model when used and in excellent condition. These haven't ran since before last Thanksgiving and had new wetsides added after I purchased them. I will demo these in my tank for anyone prior to purchasing. I stand behind anything I sell.

  4. Sunday afternoon is fine. For me, every day is a new day. Call before you come, to make sure that I am here.

The first MACNA conference that I went to was more than 10 years ago, in Dallas, Texas. I felt like a groupie at a concert. I had breakfast with Julian Sprung and Anthony Calfo. It was magical. I have been hooked for 40 years and it is still magical.

    Patrick,

I had to do a bit of unexpected work today that ran long so I won't be able to come down south today. Thanks for the offer tho'.

    Cheers,

Melrosas has picked up a couple of pounds an hour ago. She lives in Liberty Hill. Ring her bell.

    PM sent

  7. Oops, just saw the no PM message.

Had a quick question. The two dosing pumps look like they can run on independent speeds but just wanted to confirm. Also, how old are these?

Yes...each had a seperate power cord. I built these at least 1.5yrs ago and they ran the main tank up until it sprung a leak about a year ago and then it ran the temp 90G I had running. I setup the 150G cube with the profilux doser I had sitting around and I decided not to have any seperate system's if I setup a frag tank later on.

    Cheers,

  8. These are sold with the 6091 controllers. I see a lot of folks that get these and use either their apex or have tunze streams and use that same controller, to handle the wavebox, then they sell the 6091 controller. hth

    Cheers,

  9. These are manufactured by APT who supplies the pumps to BRS. They are valved to run 20ml/min so best to run with a controller like the Apex that has one second resolution. If you need something like 1.1 ml/min output then you have to change out the tubing with a smaller inner diameter, aptinstruments has the different tubing available via their website if you need different tubing. No PM's, lowball offers will be ignored.

  10. I have treated redbug's with the interceptor treatment. One treatment may not enough since the true life cycle of redbug's is not known, it is suggested that you repeat treatments for 3 weeks in a row.

    Cheers,

  11. interested as w/ out controller, i have one in used. how old is it? where r u located? can u send a pic to Vu 512-903-7773...thx

There is a pic attached to the post. The controller is nearly finished already so new lower price is just for wavebox only. I have had this for 1.5yrs, it was new when I traded an older vortech for it.

    Cheers,
