Looks like i'm ordering a red sea max kit and 1/2 gallon of BRS mag chloride and give it a go. Thanks for the input everyone.

A balanced magnesium regime will have magnesium chloride as well as magnesium sulfate mixed in proper porportions, BRS does mention this on their site also.

I have a ro/di unit to sell, it produces 75 gallons a day and is a 5 stage unit. It has a dual TDS meter and I also have extra filters besides the ones currently installed. The unit is fully operational and still producing zero TDS water.

(1) 1.0 micron ChlorPlus 10 carbon block filter

(1) 0.6 micron MATRIKX CTO Plus carbon block filter

(2) 5 micron MATRIKX CTO carbon block filter

I will sell the above for $90

To test you can take out each filter to isolate it to a section. As stated make sure the filters are oriented correctly and if so then try the isolation check. HTH

Hi,

Did it just crack, break in two or detach from one side? If it detached or broke in two then I would be concerned that the center brace breaking, would then really put stress on the remaining seam's. I wouldn't trust that tank myself if the seams were stressed with a full tank of water but there have been many folk's that have just repaired each of the above failure type's, and it worked out for them. Others...not so lucky. YMMV
