  7. You and MHart are the only ones who said what they will be wanting so between you two, I think we are up to $100. Most people will wait to see what the sale is before they say what they want.

  10. Ok people, here is the official word: - the order will ship for free + $10 for oversize/over weight - I suggest the oversize guys (retro kits) split this charge - This is based on the people in the above posts coming through. So if people back out, it might change. - remember I have to pay for it all as if I was buying it, so please PM me with how you'd like to pay for your part. I can do paypal/cash. HELLO ALL

Water purifiers largely act by binding the impure molecules/ions and converting them into something else. They aren't physically removed from the system, they are just processed into something else. That being said, I don't spend any money on them either because I can't get my head around that they would enough good to justify the cost. Bacteria in a bottle can be spotty as if the bottle gets too old, it can become useless. I think this is particularly true in the Texas heat. I have always had luck with the stablity product from seachem.
  15. Its just my opinion, but I liked the old one better.

    HELLO ALL

Um, if the products that are sold to speed up your cycle are a scam, how would explain the precipitous drop of ammonia starting on day 3?
  17. I started with the RS-80 and it is a great skimmer. Perfect for you 75G and below guys.
  18. AndrewT has been dosing for a while. You might get in touch with him if you haven't already.
  19. that's strange....mine likes the full light.
  20. Price reduced to $40
  21. Andrew, you're gonna be a father soon...you should save your $ for diapers..i.e...rotifers and brine shrimp..!
  22. tate1 - where do you keep yours in your tank? I have a frag that got from somewhere else that was doing well, then lost its color. I've been moving it around my tank and now it seems to be happiest directly under one of my 250@ 14K bulbs. I have it about 1/3 way up off the sandbed.
