I was there Sat. Shane is a great guy! Its is super clean!!! He told me the corals will be coming this week and more next week.... Also he has VHO bulbs INSTOCK!!!!! This is the only place I have found them! He also carries a few ballast for PC's and T5's.

My RO/DI is one of the hardest working pieces of equipment in the house!!! LOL! Matt I think 1 lumenarc with 250w MH with T5 actinics would be plenty for your tank....

Matt I dont like the T5's when used as actinic supplement either! I have always liked VHO's. The problem with that is the dont last as long. As far as PC's go they are decent in IMO, but the put out way more heat than T5"s or VHO's. If your tank stay at 81 degrees you shoud be ok. If you plan to keep SPS and only want to run 1 MH you are going to want to look into a better reflector. Just my 2 cents!

I only added borders. No photoshop. They are alittle out of focus, but this is the first time for me using MF and free hand (no tripod) LMK what you think!!! Camera is a Sony Alpha 300 with stock lens kit. I really need a good tripod. Anyone have suggestion for a good one thats not to pricey? Thanks for looking!

IMO I wouldnt use a CL on a smaller tank. Its just a pain to drill all the hole and taking a chance with thin glass. Also If I were to have a CL I would want to be able to drill the bottom..... Good luck finding a tank without a tempered bottom. A CL is also a pain when it come to aquascaping. If the tank was going to be Large and Inwall I could see using a CL, but on this setup I think you will be happy with the wavebox and a couple powerheads.JMO. Also if you look at alot of CL tanks you will find they are using PH's, wavebox's, and vortechs...... Dustin

Dont do the closed loop! Its not worth it..... You have the wavebox and PH's already. If you drill it may break... It will also cost you more to run the large pump over the equipment you have now. Plumbing is a pain. You WILL have dead spots. Its just not worth it unless you are building something HUGE. JMO Dustin
