  1. Wood work complete! Now time to tackle wiring!!
  2. Jake is great! I have been bumping my salinity up for the past week! I tried to calculate it and came out 1.020... the start is always the hardest...
  3. Thanks! The wifey wanted it dark so that’s what she got! The really sad part is the lighting in the living room isn't great so the detail will never be seen....
  4. Almost ready to go back under the tank! Still need to adjust the doors.
  5. Setup a make shift paint area in my shop yesterday. Got the first couple coats of spar varnish put on. Hopefully I will get it all sanded today and the final coat applied.
  6. Great pics! You guys that have angels and anemones in a reef tank baffle me! Mine never worked out! Lol
  7. Thanks! I’m trying! Lol
  8. Thank you! Thank you! My buddy is doing all the hard work! I just supervise.... lol! Working on the equipment cubby tonight.
  9. Have you watched the JF video talking about T5 lighting? He uses lots of blue. I will be ordering new bulbs in a few months when I start adding corals. I’m still not sure what I wanna do. I haven’t got to see a lot of 8 bulb fixtures in person. I’m worried about there being too much blue! I like the 14-16k look.
  10. Spent Sunday making stuff at the cabinet shop. Got the canopy, equipment box, and matching wall shelves built!
  11. I’m super happy with mine! I wanted the 60” but I had the Lifereef fuge already. The difference in 48” and 60” new price just wasn’t justifiable in my situation....
  12. I got a 2 and 9 year old.... I completely understand!
  13. Awesome! I will text ya tomorrow! Lol just taking out the trash! Now if I could only get it to take it to the curb I’d be all set! Have you got that sump installed yet?
  14. Tank is full! Skimmer is already pulling the poo!
  15. Yup you got it! It is a 16g 14x14x20 Lifereef remote fuge. I am a fan of a large fuge. I did drill and plumb a second “emergency” drain. I purchased a decently oversized return pump to help feed the fuge and manifold. Thanks I love the extra room too! Every other tank I’ve had has been crammed full! I am having a matching cabinet built to go next to the tank for my ATO and electronics.
  16. On a side note I tried to hook up the Apex to my router and it hates me.....
  17. Hmmmm...... getting close!!!!!
  18. Lol no worries! I was confused and had to go back and look at the pic...
  19. The shut off valves? Thank you!
  20. Thanks! He did a great job! The best part is It just slides in and out. Very easy to remove if needed!
  21. Ok so 97% plumbed. Have to make the last of 32 trips to Lowe’s for that little project. No I’m playing around with the rock work. What do y’all think?
  22. Thanks gig em! Hopefully I can live up to the expectations of the club! You guys have beautiful tanks!
