  1. I've had very good luck using Zeozyme + Coral Snow + Zeo Bac. It knocked the socks off the cyno problem I was having. If you want more info on this method go to the Zeovit forum and look for threads about ZeoZyme. If you are interested I will tell you the regimen I followed to get rid of it. Maintenance dose is now just once every week or so. Stephen
  2. renman303, You haven't had any adverse affects to the marine life from the Plumber's Goop? Stephen
  3. That looks really nice Gabriel. I'll be interested in know how it does too. Stephen
  4. Thanks Gabriel, but it looks like BigBird's wife is coming up here from SA Wednesday, and can bring it. Thanks for offering, and if it doesn't work out, I'll holler. Stephen
  5. Hobogato is building me a refuge, thinks he might be done as early as tomorrow, and since I don't get down to SA very often was wondering if anyone would mind picking it up and bringing it here. I could meet you about anytime or anyplace in or around Austin. It would be greatly appreciated, and wouldn't mind kicking in a few buck for gas. Stephen
  6. Yes, I'll be here. My number is 512-695-2013. Stephen
  7. If the thing on the fuge doesn't work out, I would like to take you up on it. You going to be around tomorrow? Stephen
  8. I tell you what, if you let me buy it (assuming he responds to either of us), I'll give you the tank and half the sand. Would you be interested in that deal? Stephen
  9. Thanks for the heads up. I just sent the guy an email telling him I wanted it if its still available. That would be perfect, since it not only has the macro algae, but is already established with pods and all the other stuff. I would just use it to seed the one I'm trying to get set up, as it will be about 20 - 25 gallons. Stephen
  10. Does Vodka dosing help with Nitrates? Stephen
  11. A little humor there... Does anyone have any macro algae I could get. Nitrates on my tank have gotten high, so among other things I need to get my refuge back on line. I think I have everything I need except the macro algae. I would prefer some fast growing grape Caulpera (sp?), but of course anything would be better than what I have now. I checked with Jake at RC today and he doesn't have any. Don't know if Aquatec does or not. Stephen
  12. They still haven't given you the information? Can you post their URL? Stephen
  13. Hi Princer7, When were you planning on submitting the order? I'm just about out of Nori, and will need to do something soon. Stephen
  14. Princer7, I would like in on the order. I'm willing to split, or if you want to up it to another pound I'm good for it. Stephen
  15. I just added an order for $24.55 (after discount). Just as an FYI, John was throwing in some extra Ceriths so you know when its time to split the order up, but I assume they mark the bags by name. Stephen
  16. MAAST members get a 25% discount. I saw that he also sponsored ARC, but am unsure if there is a discount for ARC members as well (I would guess there would be, since he is a sponsor). Stephen
  17. MAAST members get a 25% discount. I saw that he also sponsored ACR, but am unsure if there is a discount for ACR members as well (I would guess there would be, since he is a sponsor). Stephen
  18. Here is what I learned the hard way, and might have had something to do with yours dying. On the limpets and chitons, you definitely need to individually stick them to the rocks. I had a big order I got this week, and was trying to get everything in the tank. I didn't place the limpets and chitons on the rocks, and put them in the sand bed. The Nssarius snails devastated the limpets, and might have killed both chitons as well. I did get them later and put them on rocks, and got a few of the limpets on rocks and glass, but not before the N-snails had killed over half of them. Stephen
  19. I defintely want in on this too. I need ot order some more limpets (explanation later), a couple of fuzzy chiotns, and maybe a few other things. I'll post exactly what by the end of the weekend. Stephen
  20. Sorry Gabriel. I just knew if I tried to name everyone, I would end up forgetting someone. Sure enough I did. My utmost apologies - I'm just pretty much a moron right now I'm so tired, and I'm still working on things. Thanks so much for your help and advice as well. Stephen
  21. I wanted to thank everyone that helped with the move yesterday. It's an understatement that we couldn't have done without everyone's help. Wade, Michael, Thad, James (headless_donkey), James (jsr), Keith, Mark, Tom, Chase - I can't thank you enough. We finally got the fish in the tank around 10:30 last night. So far, everything seems to be okay - all fish accounted for - and the corals seem fine. Had RC run and Ammonia test (and picked up a kit). Jake said it looks like I might have a trace amount, but nothing to worry about so far. I'll keep a close eye on it for the next week or so. again, I can't say thank you enough. Stephen
  22. jsr, Can defintely use the totes. Hope you can stay too. I'm fighting the same thing (either allergies or a cold). Wade, we'll still be going from morning into the afternoon. Depending on what time you can come after your walk, why don't you just call my cell and we'll let you know which house we are at. Do you still have my cell #? BTW, is the pump working out okay? Stephen
  23. Wanted to get a final idea of how many were going to be able to help. Some of you I've talked to either thru PM or phone. I plan to be at the Autumn Ridge house NLT 9:00 (hopefully earlier) Innate, Do you need anything from me like directions on my cell phone #? Gabriel, So we can still expect you around noon? Anyone else? Even if you could come by for a little while, it would help. Thanks to everyone. Stephen
  24. Thanks Gabriel. We'll stick to Saturday then. Cool Breeze, I'll PM you my cell phone # so you have it. Thanks again for the loan. Stephen
