  1. Is it too late to have them add to it, since I figure they aren't shipping any earlier than Monday? Stephen
  2. Well, it looks like I got beat to the punch. I would have have liked to get him as well. Stephen
  3. Let us know what you want for the other one since the Lunar is gone. Also, why are you getting rid of them. Fairy Wrasses are one fish you can't have too many of, IMO. Stephen
  4. Sorry about that. You are right, I was thinking about IceCap's dimmable VHO ballasts. The dimmable MH ballast is the knob on the side. Stephen
  5. I have CoralVue and IceCap are definitely brighter. I have the two side-by-side with the same bulbs and there is a definitely difference. As far as the dimmable one, that one will only work the dimmable part with a certain controller, one that I had heard of before and not any of the well known ones (like profilux, reefkeeper, autonautica, etc.). When I get a few hundred to spare I plan on buying another icecap and just keep the coralvue as a spare for back-up. Stephen
  6. Mine has a deep blue base and pink polyps. Where did you get yours from? Stephen
  7. Versace, They look great! Where did you get him? I recently got two and really would like to get some more (like I need something else I want more of ). Stephen
  8. I'm looking at it now. He has some very nice stuff. Wish those Yuma's weren't quiet so high Stephen
  9. Aqua sd? Is that local or online? Stephen
  10. Mike, Where did you get them from? Stephen
  11. Are the colors that vibrant in the tank? Where did you get them? I recently got two yuma's that are deep blue with orange polyps. They are the first two yumas (although I have lots of ric's) I have ever had. I really like the yuma's and want to get more. Stephen
  12. Mike, Are #1 and #2 Ricordea's? Stephen
  13. Yes, Kingfish. You should get one so I'm not the only person in Austin with an Elos tank Stephen
  14. Did this get sold? If not, what is the diameter of the cylinders? Stephen
  15. Thanks. This is very interesting. Looking forward to seeing more. Stephen
  16. You might try the feeding, but as Derek says, and I've also confirmed with a coral commercial propagator, they just don't grow very fast. I have about 4 small colonies with the same issue. That is why you don't see aquacultured acans, they are all wild caught. They just don't grow fast enough to make them commercially feasible. Stephen
  17. Also, I'm not challenging, just curious, why you are using horticulture light ballasts? Stephen
  18. Could you further explain the "water-cooled heat exchangers for the lighting"? Stephen
  19. Can the organizer check to see if they still sell the mud? If so I would want a bag or two. I don't think they have them, but if they had any dwarf blue leg hermits I would be interested in a good siae order of that as well (I think the only place I can get those is Reeftopia). Stephen
  20. Cool! Thanks for the update! Stephen
  21. innate, Will the Kalk work on nuisance Paly's as well? I've never found any of the aiptashia remedies that work work totally on the Paly's. They only slow them down for a while. Stephen
  22. The Nerites are known to crawl out of tanks, as I have experienced myself with them. Stephen
  23. I'll follow up in about a month to see how you are liking it. Again, thanks for the info. I'm anxious to try it. Stephen
  24. Good to know Clint. I was disappointed in the tests I got off the NeoSalt I tried. I asked John (Kingfish) about the Tropic Marin stuff just the other day. How long have you been using it? Are you getting the results they advertise (like better polyp extension)? How much did you have to pay for it - I read somewhere its about $100 a bucket. Stephen
  25. That's good to know. Also, gues I was way off on the micron size Next time I'll look it up. Stephen
