    Dump that lousy AT&T DSL and when you call to cancel give them a lip full oh how horrible broadband caps are. When I had them no ports where blocked. You need to log into your netgear and forward the port to your APEX. I recommend using port 81, but any port should work. Putting you modem into bridged mode is also a really good idea. Is you modem black or silver? If its black look on the underside of it and there should be login credentials.

    Depends on how much you use your homes heating/cooling. If the tank where in my house, it would have chiller/heater combo because my homes ambient temps would affect the tank adversely. I'm sure caferacer will get on his soapbox soon about how bad heaters are, but it really just depends on your situation.

    If possible, just tilt the rock a little. It may not like the gravity change and decide to move on it's own.

    I recommend you feed your fish lightly. Do not block their oxygen by covering up the tank. Leave your skimmer going.
