The Aquatic life fixture comes standard with side brackets that leave a 7" gap between them. They now separately sell end brackets that leave a 12ish inch gap. Original design was to allow something like a Radion XR30 to fit lengthwise. They had a lot of requests to mount them perpendicular.

Thanks! Just did a couple of tests. I'm seeing better results...just need to play with lightroom a little more. Like you I also took a photography class my senior year in high school and had a darkroom set up at home...but unlike you I didn't retain quite as much of the knowledge! 😞

I've got a T3i and used these settings but my pics came out extremely dark. What could I have done wrong? The one thing I don't see in your list that is on my display is shutter speed. I tried several different settings but none of them worked.

I'd probably have to finance just one polyp of those with a guy in a dark alley.

I've had the pair over a year and they recently started spawning. They just spawned for the 2nd time on Mon or Tues. Just wondering if anyone out there is interested in trying to raise the fry. You can see the eggs in the corner of the tank. I'd rather see someone trying to raise the fry then having the poor fish constantly laying the eggs and none of them survive.

I'd probably take one or two off your hands!

I watched a couple of videos and one guy uses Gonipower from Two Little Fishy's by Julian Sprung and I saw it on Amazon so I thought why not try it. We'll see how they respond.

Picked up another nice fungia yesterday. Anyone recognize it? First one is with the yellow filter, second is without.

Was just cleaning the glass and female clown was spazzing out. Didn't think anything of it until I moved the scraper to the bottom corner where they hang out and when I moved it back I saw all these little silver things go flying and all the fish went nuts eating them!!!! That's when I realized the clowns had spawned on the silicone in their corner. 😞 I felt so bad...There seems to still be quite a few left but it's hard to see. Now I'm stressing because I know they won't survive and I have nothing set up to try to raise them. Naturally my first thought was to move the pair to the 45g tank once the eggs / fry were gone but then that's a whole other project I'm not sure I'm ready for. Anyone ever raised fry...wondering how difficult it is getting the plankton / rotifers going and sustaining it long enough to get them switched over to baby brine. Ugh...somebody stop me!!!!
