    An Apex controller is great for those of us who travel a lot for work. That is, until your wife removes the fan you were using to keep the tank cool in the afternoons because she was feeling warm....

    Accidently dropped my two largest SPS colonies on the ground while trying to trim off dead branches. No longer have any large colonies. Not a good month for my tank...

    Have to say.. I love my Vertex skimmer. Pulled it out of the sump to clean it last night and it was SO easy to dismantle and resassemble!

      +1 on that. also love the screw off collection cup...no more splatter / spilling trying when the o-ring comes free!
