Crossbonez, I can relate to your feeling. I too by nature am shy but like Bill pointed out we all have something in common, Saltwater. We love to talk about it and show off our hard work! I have met a lot of great people on this forum and at the meeting. Some have become very good friends. If it was not for this forum I would have thrown in the towel long ago. But this is surely off topic. I do have some green polpys I can sell or trade. I have posted a picture of the mother colony. The frag I currently have has 7+ polyps PM if interested: Dave & Robin

I will be sending it in for repair Monday or Tuesday. Now I have a reason to clean up and re-route the cords.

I have kept dragon eye in my tank for about a year. Now they are melting. Checked kh, which I due twice a week, kh went from 8 to 5. I think my stoneys are eating all the kh and calcium which is a good thing. I said all that to say this: IMHO If you don't have a calc reactor. Test for kh every and dose until you get to 8. Keep testing everyday to get a feel of how much you tank is eating kh per day. Once you find that out you can dose x amiunt each day to keep your kh up. Dave-

Well, it something to do.

The answer is yes the controller runs the lights, fans and heater. I have 2 timers (not sure if one works) so my lights are ok. I'll just cut back the photo period for a couple of days to a week depending on how long they have the unit. All my fans have been wired into a four way outlet with the power coming from the contoller. I can monitor the temp hourly and turn on fans is needed. What do you guys think of the plan? The unit will be sent out Monday as I am hosting a beautiful acan until Saturday.

I have to send my contoller in for repair. they will not send me a loaner unit. I'm ok with the lighitng. My only concern is temp control. Any ideas? Dave-
