I've got only a couple more chunks to lock in and then I think I'm good, but I have extra tonga left over. If you want to stop by and see if your mind see spots to put it I'm game otehrwise I'll figure out a second shape to put in there with the extra.

if you end up with any long or mid tonga remaining, I might be interested in it...

      (Bio)³

I'm looking for long/mid tonga also, I want some long simple branhces. Bought one from BRS and it was anything but a simple branch.

strictly fish is pretty impressive. Exotic aquariums used to have a bunch of cool tanks and designer corals..

Awesome! One doesn't usually think of an AIO tank as part of a larger system!

    2. (Bio)³

      (Bio)³

oh I ripped the AIO out the day I got the tank :)

  7. Get back from my rip to find the MMC walked down the drain intot he sump, no possible way to remove it so it will stay there

But what are the lux or PAR readings under the MH and under the LEDs? If there was a lot less light from the LEDs you would have had the same experience if you used a lot less light from a smaller MH. And since we want intensity and spectrum for our symbiotic cyano and dino in our corals a better experiment might have been to get and match lux or PAR readings.

    3. (Bio)³

      (Bio)³

Well I don't have a par meter so I can't check that. But I do have some T8 in lid lights I can put over the tank also. I'll let this MH run for 3 weeks, then switch to those and see if I get the same cyano/diatom bloom

      August

which BML fixtures do you have?? and what tank size was it on?

  10. House power ust surged about 5 times... love UPS on my tank instead of shutdown I hear one beep and were still running.

      Right on Brian!

Rory, I can drill any tank thats not tempered. 10 gallon is iffy due to thin glass but I think we can do it if we take it slow and do it right.

Brooks, When do you want to build? I'm going out of state in about a week for a few days.

      Brooks
