Yeah it might just be the rubber holds have shrunk over time and now it rattles in there. Either way I wanted something a lot quieter for my office. Guess I just got to gamble and see what happens.

I recently cleaned out the old pump in my BioCube 29 which has been running strong since 2007! However, it has become pretty loud and I would like to replace it with a quiet pump as I was thinking about moving the tank in my office. Problem is its like impossible to figure out what is quality these days. I was looking at

The mount, ballast and bulbs from a og biocube 29 with 3rd lamp upgrade. Also have many bulbs I can give you as well. Might be good guts for a seedling grow setup or frag setup. Will keep it up for a few days before junking it. 

Does anyone have any on hand? Would like to aquire a bundle.

Puffer is doing great. Put 15 silver sides fresh from the ocean with him and he nailed 12 of them on the first night. Looking fat and healthy and his color has improved.

I named him "Tommy want wingy"

Are you shutting down your tank? He would be alone in the tank with a fuzzy dwarf lion fish. I don't think the puffer will mess with a lion but ya never know. I just got back from the coast and have tons of silversides and shrimp for him to hunt and feast on. PM me details

How are you measuring the temps on the LED sink? If that sink gets too hot right under your LED pad your LED's will fail. Was wondering if you came up with a good method.
