Are they eating yet in QT with the copper treatment?

I run a Mag18 on my 180g with. All of the flow currently going into the tank and then thru the overflow so that same amount goes thru my Fuge. I have chase to in there that doesn't tumble at all and it grows fast enough for me to pull a gallon size bag out every month.... I think there is more than one way to build the mouse trap. It depends on your system and wants to determine your design....

I like it! I am planning out my Water Change system right now as well. I am using the same type of barrels and plan to build a stand to stack them and have RO barrel high with the mixing barrel under so it slides in and out for use or storing between water changes. Trying to save a little garage floor space. I like your waste water idea. I may have to borrow the idea. Looks good!

I am interested. How many heads? Is it a wall or branching? It looks like a wall but I didn't think Torches came in a wall type... Do you have any non actinic pics with it fully extended?

Sherita, that is looking really good! What size sump are you planning on? Did you leave an opening in the end to slide it through or do you have to fit it through the front openings?

I have 2 WP40s and 2 WP25s on my 180g and they do a fantastic job in creating random flow! I could get by with just the WP40s but I like the WP25s crossing the WP40 flow to create additional random water motion... My LPS and Anemones sway very nicely... This new twin controller is great if you aren't going to use an Apex to control them...

I have a blue / green Milli that is about 2 x 2 with multiple branches for sale. I have had it for several months and it had fully extended polyps. Recently it has retracted its polyps. Base has encrusted the rock it is on very well and continues to spread. I focus on LPS, Anemones, and Zoas/Palys so I am wanting to sell this to someone that wants SPS. I like my Skimmz SM201. It is a little more expensive but a fantastic skimmer. They have multiple sizes, so you would just need to look them up and find the one for your size... I know several people in the club are running them and all love them... I believe there is a Skimz SM161 used for sale under Hardware now...

Bpb, where have you heard about a bunch of lemons? I haven't heard of many. I now have 6 units and have had 1 power supply go bad. I replaced it off Amazon with a universal one where I can change the voltage on it for $13... I would be interested in hearing about other issues just to see what components are faulty... I have only heard of power supply issues like mine up to this point.

on my 180g, I have both mine set to "Else" mode with one set to S1 and one set to S2 so they are slightly off sync causing random turbulence in my tank. I also have 2 WP25s on the back wall breaking the flow of the WP40s to add more random swirls. They are both set on W1.

since this is a separate Fuge than the sump, I will stick with the Mag2...

I can do Saturday, but not Sunday... And I can handle 1 corner ;-). so you need just a few others... I would say 1 end but the 3/4" glass makes it much heavier than my 180g.

my personal opinion is that I want cleaned water going into a chiller (if I had one) and dirty water going into my fuge, so I personally would not want to plumb my chiller and fuge together...

Ty, I also have time off with the holiday break so if you wanted to at least get the tank up on the stand, I am sure we could arrange a few people over for 30 minutes and be done...

Is the refugium 50g or the entire sump 50g? I use a 55g sump (15g of refugium space) on a 180g DT and I run a Mag18 as my return pump. I do not divert any of the water to other places... I have not had any problems and believe my flow meets my purposes...
