  3. That is great, gonna have to make it over there now that they are much closer and check them out. They always have such great looking corals. Bet that bad boy looks good in the tank!
  4. That is quite a boost! Did you get one of the booster pumps form BRS? I was thinking about getting one eventually cause our water pressure pretty much sucks Good to know that a booster pump can make that much difference.
  5. Congrats , that is a really great looking frag!!! Post some pics of it in the tank if you get a chance. How far away from aquatek are they now? I read somewhere that hey had moved to the 183/burnet area?

  7. That is cool!! At least he is hosting in something other than the front glass. My clown has had an RBTA for bout two months now and hasn't figured it out... Where did you get your live rock? Your corraline growth looks amazing, and has really great color!!!
  8. I finally caught my mystery wrasse using a juice bottle (Big HEB apple juice bottle) setup. First I left the bottle in the tank for a few days and then baited it with food. It took a while too, but he finally went in and then could not get out. It sure is frustrating trying to catch an elusive fish. Wish I had some better advice than that Good luck and I Hope you catch the chromis soon.
  9. Okay caught this guy. He is officially up for sale, and ready to go. Asking $75 or make me an offer....

    WTB Chaeto

Looking for some chaeto for my sump. Anyone have some they want to to sell???
  16. + 1 for the dead rock route, this is the way to go if you want to ensure that you don't bring any unwanted pests into your tank. Plus dead rock is usually cheaper that live rock. But like both of the above posters said it takes longer for the tank to cycle and be ready to support livestock. Also check out This article by Mr. Saltwater tank that talks about the benefits of going dead over live. HTH
  17. Very cool, thanks for sharing!

  23. Take a look at this site: (sorry couldn't get the link to work.) http://home.comcast.net/~stevelarsen00/site/?/page/Lamps_and_lamp_combinations/. He recommends where to place the bulbs in the fixture as well as gives suggestions on what you should expect for color. From everything that I have read you should be fine if you stick with ATI, Geissman, or KZ. Hope this helps.
