Free crown conch

I've had mine since January, and he doesn't bother the snails. Now, on a different side, I've tried on two occasions adding another conch, and both new ones each time ended up missing within a day or two. Maybe they don't like their own kind?
3. Aquatek did have one last week when I went up.
4. What are you looking to trade for?
5. That is a great idea. I never thought about that.
6. I have no experience in regards to babies and reef tanks, BUT, my niece (4) loves to come over and play with our catfish in the big tank. She loves to stand on a stool, and hold the pieces of fish and pellet and wait for one of the two to come up and slurp her fingers while searching for the hidden chunk, inside a clamped little fist. Neither of the catfish have the capability to actually bite her, (one not mentally, and the other physically deformed) and she loves when the RTC's whiskers come out of the water touch her face, and the giggles break out. I don't have kids toys at my house, aside from the random stuffed animals from claw machines (boring), and our 360 which she plays for a while... so she gets hours of fun with them and I too, have a blast. I bet our new niece would love our salt tank.
7. I know the Dome has some. They had some about the size of a half dollar on up. I saw a couple at River City too, but I don't frequent many others, aside from Fishy Business.
8. Until I could get a bigger one, would it be ok to put the Eshopps and my current(don't laugh) Seaclone 100 together to combine their power?
9. Will an Eshopps PSK-75 powered by a Rio 600 pump be a good choice for a 75 gallon system? Or would I need something bigger?
10. All in the last two weeks: Cat is diagnosed with an aggressive/inoperable cancer, all my fish have died in my SW tank, and our dachshund died Saturday morning. FML

Very sorry for your losses. I could live with my tank crashing but having my dachsie leave me would be extremely upsetting.

11. Shane has some of pic 6,7,8 up at Fishy Business. I was up there yesterday checking them out. He fragged them out of his large leather in his show tank. I picked up a pink one, he had like 6 of the greens.

FRAGS

If any watermelons fall through I would like one, can pick up tonight. Thanks
14. Robb- yes I did call them, and more than likely will use them, or at least go in for the referral consult. I just found out my cat has cancer, so it hasn't quite sunk in yet.
15. Thanks James. I tried them, but no luck.
16. Does anyone know of a vet that practices in oncology?
17. Truth in status updates Tuesday. When I was 5 my dad did a magic trick and pulled a bunny out of his top hat for my birthday. I thought they needed sunlight to grow, so the next morning I pulled his hutch out into the middle of the yard... and forgot. He had no shade :( Needless to say, no more bunny.

heehee yes, but someone wise educated me.

18. I find troughs on Craigslist frequently. I saw one for a 170 gallon for $60. Measures about 2x2x6 and is the rounded rectangular shape. I have seen them for free sometimes too.
19. Going to pick up some goodies after work. When I asked if I needed my transport bucket, the reply "I have a 48 gallon tank you can have and use as a transport container". Holy moly I'm excited.

I found someone that I guess is moving this week, and with their work needed to have everything gone tonight to tear the tank down. Not sure what to expect, aside from what I had inquired on, just a little fish, but they had some corals, and I just don't know what. Not sure what to expect, but 6pm can't come fast enough.

20. I'm pretty convinced it's a leather as well at this point. The base of it morphed over the weekend from a marble shape to an odd, oblong shape. The tentacles still come out though. I really like it now. I found some palys (sp?)growing underneath, 3 little heads, once the base of it shifted upwards. I think I am a BiPolar SW keeper though. Some days I absolutely hate my tank, while others, I like it.
21. I tried the feeding advice again last night. When the mysis hit the tentacled they sucked inside the base. When they came back out, I touched it and it didn't stick to me, just sucked in where I touched.
22. Maybe I did something right. When I fed last night, I gave mysis to the my condy anemone, which is an experiment. I turned all my stuff off, and it did its normal thing. But I guess since I was thinking this thing is a leather, I fed it Kent Phytoplex. It didn't really do anything but close its flowers, the tentacles stayed out. When I touched it, it doesn't stick to my finger like the condy does. I turned all the pumps back on and the flowers reopened a few minutes afterward. I don't want to throw anything out just yet, as I just got them on Wednesday, and for them to be open in MY tank, well that's a feat in itself. This is the first time something has gone right in my tank, and I hate to think it's just a nuisance. If it is, then I will get rid of it.
23. This doesn't have a mouth at all. It looks just like the 2nd pic in my 2nd post, thats a way better picture. The base is round like that, marble shaped and when all the tentacles go in, its smooth and shiny. I got it at one of the stores here, and there's a bunch that look the same way for sale. The tentacles don't shrivel like an anemone, they just go in the base.

I think this is why I never ventured into FW planted tanks . Things I always thought were good, ended up being a PITA or a weed. Maybe I am just destined for keeping my clowns and nothing else, or maybe just live rock and my snail. sigh. *at least I found three zoas on it.
24. When I look up the Mojano, i see this for examples. Are their multiple types?
