I have never kept seahorses so I am not sure. I would try google'ing the scientific name: Duncanopsammia Aixfuga. Water flow requirement is low to medium. I am not sure if they would like the temp required for a seahorse tank.

That's what I use for Carbon....an Aquaclear with nothing in it but a filter bag that I swap out every week. If you have at least three bags its a snap
I use ATI bulbs. 2 aqua blue specials and 2 blue plus. The PAR values are very high. Check out t5testing by grimreefer and PARvalues.
Other popular brands are KZ, UVL, Giessman to name a few. The great thing about T5 is you can mix and match.
