  1. Emprtying the sump and soaking it in a vinegar solution will get rid of it. Same for the skimmer,
  2. The mouth is too small. You're fine.
  3. It does look like a maroon. It is cute.
  4. If you have a lot of fish, get a cleaner wrasse. I had some problems with external parasites so I got a cleaner wrasse for $10 from AquaDome. Within three days all of my fish were parasite free. The cleaner wrasse is fat as can be and feeds on pellet food. AquaDome is good about training the fish to eat pellets. It makes it super easy to get them to eat other stuff.
  5. Welcome. The tank looks great.
  6. Are they quick growers?

    Walking BTA

I got one recently. I have had him for a few weeks. It still walks around. Just let him be. He'll find a good spot.

    New clowns!

Very nice. That Yellow Tang is going to get bigger than the tank.
  9. Binswanger Glass does good stuff. I had them make me a glass top for my old 90 gallon tank.
  10. Welcome. Is it a 29 gallon bio cube? I love those.

    New 'Scape!

Very nice Brooks. I like the anemone.
  12. It looks like the peppermints are working. Some of the larger aptastias were looking a bit tattered today! Yay!
  13. Does anyone know of a good book on Marine Angels? I would love to get one and read up on them.
  14. I may have to take you up on the offer if the peppermints don't start doing their job. I'll wait a week or two and see what happens.
  15. I love copperband butterflies. I have been trying to get one, but they keep dying on me. I may get one from LiveAquaria or Vivid in a few weeks. I need to wait and see what my Queen's Angel does. She is a little under the weather.
  16. I have a few peppermint shrimp in my tank that I just got a week or so ago. The only issue is that I have a marine beta, two hawkfish, and a large wrasse. If the peppermints stray too far off the rocks they get munched. Maybe they will be come nocturnal peppermints that feast on aptaistia at night.
  17. Does anyone have any experience with Aiptastia Eating Bristletail Filefish? I am curious what the probability is that they will actually eat aiptastia.
  18. Bubble coral is good. Frog spawn is also a good choice. I started with frog spawn and still have the same colony after 4 years.
